I already have Bioshock 2 on PS3, so going to take Darkness 2 on PC

I'd only played Bioshock 1 on xbox, and missed 2 completely so grabbing all three seems like a smart move. Cheers for the heads up.

Now to see if Crysis 3 melts my graphics card...

Torn between Bioshock 2 and Civ 5 in that deal. I'm leaning towards Civ, as Bioshock feels like a poor relation to the first one (more fighty, less moody), anyone care to convince me otherwise?

Bioshock 2 is brilliant, with a really engaging story, and wonderful level design, but on some levels, very crashy, requiring lots of saving.

ah that might swing it for me, unfortunately. Will be running this on a fairly low powered ultrabook, so Civ fits that spec more really. (It runs Dark Souls okay, but would probably prefer something less intensive / FPS dominated)
(also aware this makes per-ordering Infinite a bit silly but oh well! I'll play it when I buy a machine to play DS 2)

I played civ for about 6 hours yesterday. I'm shit at it but it's really addictive.

Bioshock 2 is brilliant, with a really engaging story, and wonderful level design, but on some levels, very crashy, requiring lots of saving.

The DLC add on was IMHO better than the story of Bioshock 2.

Played metal gear rising. Great fun was had by all.

The adverts for it make it look good Lara has a proper face and her body seems normally proportioned.
What is good (badass) about it?

Well I'm about 20-odd% through now I think, and the first few hours are just a mental stress of QT events and clambering about - that I've actually enjoyed playing through. I normally hate 'quickly press X' things too.

It's pretty gritty, fast paced, stressful, really pretty, and actually fun. I think out of everything I've played recently, it's definitely the most fun I've had in a game. Guns feel really nice, bow is mint, and finding all the salvage to upgrade them is good fun n all.

Didn't think I'd enjoy the 'exploring tombs' bit, as the stuff in AC drove me mad - but so far they've not been that long or infuriating to bother me... though I guess there's plenty of time for that.

Lara goes from being pathetic and crying loads (but acted really well for once!) to slowly becoming a hard ass. I'm assuming by the end she's going to be harder than van damme.

Going by the percentage, I don't think it's going to be an 'I can't believe that's over already' experience either. I don't really want the experience to end either.

Lara always had a bit of QT which s lazy imo.
I liked the exploring tombs puzzles bit in earlier games.
