Having got distracted from Gears of War 2 a long time ago, the last of the trilogy inspired me to fire up the xbox and finish the job. Quite amazed it was January 2009 when I last played it.

Unfortunately the 360's dvd drive sounds like an angry washing machine. It's vibrating my whole desk and I'm worried that I might suddenly get shiny plastic shrapnel in my face.

Don't think I'll bother buying Forza 4 at this rate, which is a shame cos it's about the only xbox exclusive I was looking forward to.

I tried out fallout 3, found it dull, stilted and repetitive. Gave it a good go, just got bored.

i sold fallout nv to get deus ex 3. i could never get into that game.

and i freaking love fallout.

I've started playing the campaign on Dawn of War Soulstorm again. Love it, but there's a real disparity between leves, sometimes it takes you 5 minutes, sometimes an hour.

Just finished Homefront. FPSs are so multiplayer oriented now that the single player is almost ignored. "Give them a couple of hours." Lame. Glad I only paid 70p for it.

So after Deus Ex is Gears of War 3 (Edge 9) and skyrim which looks beautiful and I hope is as immersive as oblivion was. I may also have a go at driver after kirth's (Doesn't normally play driving games) review. I am also looking forward to the new look halo 1 which is the best halo game due to the simplicity of game play and the 2 weapon regenerating health innovation.\

I reckon you'll like new Vegas a lots, fallout 3 is pretty much a traditional fallout, whether new Vegas is very much different, i found it much more whimsically dark.

Little bit o research later (yeah my re-install failed) - "You will find that borderlands requires phys-x drivers even if you have an ati/radeon card'. Dickheads

Looking at an hour of wiping All graphics drivers, 2nd un-install of B'lands, re-in drivers, blah blah.... zzzzzz

You could just not edit them ;) ;P

If you've got an nvidia GPU theres a program ( NHancer) where you can force/unlock a bajillion graphic settings for borderlands (and others) that make it absolutely stunning :)
