are you mad?! start playing now!!! By the way, make sure that you redeem the explosive mission pack BEFORE you run the game. I input the code at the menu screen and i don't think any of the content has been added to my save game. which is shit, but on the other hand, it gives me a brilliant excuse to immediately play through the game again when i finish!

no you're right. Go out and act normally for a while. Maybe start playing around 4 earliest

Yeah, the sheet with the code says install it before starting a game.

It arrived at 8:30. This is not the right time to start playing. I'd like to be dark in a perfect world. But I'll likely be drunk by that time. And I want to be sober for the game.
Oh, life is hard.
(It's reached that point where I've been wanting it, and excited for it, for so long, that I'm afraid to actually play it).

dont be so soft... get playing.
it's good. sucks you in, eats your hours/days/life.

The thing is, i was just running the game at the title scene when i entered the code. Hadn't started a game, had no save file or anything. It should really read on the manual "enter code before inserting disk".

Right on horatio
having just got back from a 50 miler in the north downs it feels justified to be adam jensen for the rest of the day (Could have done with augmented legs on a couple of the climbs:)

a bit late to this, but this review, demo play video had me in stitches as I watched it, what's with his voice/accent, and how excited did he get.
I have a vague interest in warhammer, but couldn't combine that with collecting comics in my youth so let it go, but the fanboyness of this clip is just too much to bear..
I imagine in the film of his life, he's played by nick frost..

Yeah, so mine bugged, I stood behind a pillar and just head shot him to death. He didn't try come get me. The other bosses were a lot harder imho.

Well, mine didn't bug, but I totally understand why a lot of the reviewers just didn't quite understand the point of the boss battles.
Why would i sneak my arse off for 6 hours just to walk dumbly into a room with 3 baddies?
It's almost like square enix don't understand games with RPG tendencies unless there's a boss battle somewhere.

Yeah worst is coming in with a 10mm hand gun, and nothing else. That pissed me off big time
-
• #3341
only negative point so far though.. other than the fear that i'm going to finish the game by tomorrow.
-
• #3342
really ? It took me 25 hours... I guess you could
-
• #3343
haha i've probably put in 12 already.

I've encountered a mission-killing bug in detroit as well. Quite disappointing. It's triggered if you visit a particular mission-related location before commencing the mission. Means one of your targets glitches to somewhere outside of the map so you can't kill them.
Very frustrating considering by this point you've spent an hour or two working through every other step in the mission.

I just replayed CS:S. They changed some stuff and it's not as good as I remember
disappointed :(
Source was always crap.
1.3 - 1.6 :(
Oh so many years wasted.

just downloaded the space marine demo for xbox 360. had to use up one of my months of free xbox live for it, which sucks, but the demo itself is pretty much as you see in the video above. so much fun once you get into the flow of slashing, stunning and executing. Hardly fired a single round.

I only had one mission glitch, it told me to pick up the pad from the dead guy, read it. I did, but the quest didn't update so I couldn't finish it. Shame.

Both those points (fucking loading times).

Yup. It's a disappointment. I've got a 10mm which I'm using to head-shot everyone in sight, and then there's this guy who seems invincible. Fuck me. I had a really tough time with the boss. There was some sort of trick which I still don't really get.

I'm not convinced there is actually, mark. In that room there is quite a lot of explosive stuff, but there's no way to get to any of it in time to avoid being completely cunted. I beat him by shooting him repeatedly in the face.
I have a souped up 9mm, it's the only gun you need. Aside from the boss fights, load times, and the odd glitch, this game is sick to the power of rad.

Sort of spoiler? Don't read below...

..
...Every way I tried to kill him (percussion grenade, shoot in the face a bunch of times; hide and shoot; run and shoot; run up to him and try to rip his throat out) failed. He would just walk up to me shooting or throw grenades. Finally I hid behind the slab of cement in between us at the start, got out the sniper rifle, and shot him in the face. He'd be stunned for a second and then unload on me causing his gun to overheat which would give me the chance to shoot him in the face another one or two times. This again would piss him off, he'd unload on me, and overheat.
Any other gun/method I used wouldn't make him angry enough for him to stand still and just unload. Everything else would just result in him walking towards me shooting (but in bursts, so as not to overheat) and throwing grenades. Fucking annoying as hell.
