I still find it pretty amazing that no one has really went the survival-horror route with the Alien franchise. The survivor mode looks a bit crap as it's essentially a speedrun mode, in a game that should be quite tense and slow-paced. Strange!

I was close to buying a pc just for dayZ, but I'm more excited downloading breed! Going to be an anti climax isn't it?

On the fence about buying Forza Horizon 2 - looks bloody good though, might end up buying it at the end of the month.

Also GTA is out next month - will be picking that up!

Just bought MGS HD for the Vita... I've never played any MGS games, so 2+3 for $14 seemed a good idea. Something to keep me busy on my up coming 17 hour plane flight :S

MGS3 is one of the best games ever made in my opinion.

@kirth 2+3 are so much better on console, but well worth playing. Agree with you @mmccarthy - the pinnacle of that gen of gaming.

@croft So yes, but I have a massive back log of console games and nothing to play on the vita. I doubt they would plug in my PS3 on the plane hehe. The games support cross platform saves, so when I get back if I like it I could continue playing on console (if I buy it again)

+2 for MGS3, especially the re-release with the movable 3rd person camera

I got right to the end on 0 kills 0 alerts and then got so tired of carrying whatserface I never finished the game. Now have it on the 360 but just can't get back in to it :(

Had the first one, and loved it, but that was the last console I had (/CSB etc.) so never really played the others. is 3 Sons of Liberty?

I read and heard so much about it but was probably too old to suspend disbelief when I tried it. Too many cut scenes. I suppose stealth gaming was novel then, until we got Thief and splinter cell

This has also reminded me of a fancy dress party I went to, with the theme of videogame charecters (and a DJ set based around videogame song, CSB), where I went with a Tuxedo (as the special bonus costume), and the host then went and got changed into a jumpsuit etc etc as normal snake. Lots of 'Snaaaaaakeee' that night. (I'd also always wanted to do it with a comedy cut out ! on my back but didn't get around to it)
