It just 'feels' really right. Reminds me of pgr2, which was my all time favourite racing game in terms of car weight and feel. Only been able to throw an hour or two at it so far and it feels a little easy but I'm sure it'll ramp up.

I always have traction, ABS, stability & steering assist turned off. Braking lines only and manual gears.

Makes it a lot more fun.
