Something about the specialized makes me think of this:
I really like the POC Octal, but £$£$£
Have they released the price yet?

Why have I spent all my monies this month.... Altho that POC helmet could be a winner, already got the all mountain and bloody love it!

They all look fucking horrendous guys. What's wrong with everyone?

The giro with visor is the only vaguely acceptable one - without the visor it looks like a cheap bin cut down into a rollerblading hellmet.

Out of all of them the Scott is the least likely to be confused with a squid or a StackHat™

Its that lust for 0.1 of a mph faster! Ha

Road cycling gear does look horrendous.
Looking a twat, is a large part of what motivates me to go faster past people.

there's looking like a twat, and then there's looking like a twat...

Drunken EBay purchase.
I may need to shelf them.
My plain black prendas ones are a tad holey but usable.

At least they're visible. A lot of TTers rock bright booties for that reason alone.

helmets, booties... it could be worse look what they're discussing over here http://www.lfgss.com/post3737954-1769.html

That was probably my drunken logic. -

I have the fluro DeFeet ones for night riding, but they aren't lycra booties, just normal shoe covers.
-

Same thing really, no?. I find the lycra ones stop the vents drafting better.
If I'm honest, I'd bought that helmet in yellow if they had it. I dont genuinely believe it'll make me safer. But it'd give me more reason the get arsey with anyone that pulls out on me. Which is just as important to the old and bitter amongst us.

Need a real helmet for RideLondon and beyond. Going to get a Rudy Projects Windmax. Tried a bunch on in Condor and it feels the best. Plus extra points for gangster hair net. Wiggle have them with a decent discount.
Maybe I can be as happy as this guy:
And be able to do this:
Really put off Kask by their stupid YouTube promo videos. Plus probably everyone will be wearing one with the Rapha Team Sky kit. Giro stuff felt dated with not enough padding and tiny adjuster dial on the back.

Isn't ride london on Saturday or Sunday? How do you expect wiggle to deliver between now and then?

Magnets.

The Air Attack Shield is a superb helmet - it's comfortable, the ventilation is better than you'd expect, and the visor is a godsend - but at least one person makes fun of me every time I wear it out. I'm not sure the world is ready for it quite yet.

Sunday. Delivered tomorrow, hopefully. Another place has it in stock and will return the Wiggle order if it arrives late.

Thoughts on the Power Race C-130 from planet-x? Thinking about picking one up in black.

Looks very much like a Met to me.
The POC is really nice. I'll be getting a POC ski helmet, which I'll probably use for snow biking.
