  • I miss angry matt

  • ELK's V's Los Coños

    4-2
    2-0
    3-1

    I think thats right?

Yep, I think so. I think we all played amazing tonight. Thanks everyone.

Apologies for Ali's dirty play, i don't know what came over her. (No jokes about being dirty, or coming over people thanks)

    hahahaha!

  • I don't care how many players Zombie have. As Roxy said: More2love.

  • Ha ha...you noticed that post! Wink wink indeed! ;-)

I have no idea what you are talking about.

  • did the lights get sorted at newington?

  • yep no problem tonight snoops. not sure who sorted them or if last night was just a blip

  • awesome, must have been a malice tactic

  • i think SLAP vs COGS was

    1-3
    0-2
    2-3

but Hops can probably confirm. thanks for reffing sarah, and thanks to Cogs for three really nice games. cheers J & R too of course. you guys are awesome

  • awesome, must have been a malice tactic

ha, perhaps matt screwed with the fuses whilst getting us all to look for his tabouleh

  • No, It was people pissing about with them who don't know what they're doing. When we arrived half the lights were off...that's not achieved my flipping one switch.

  • so Conos lost ? :(
Cm'on girls, get Ali to be more violent

  • SLAP v Massive Cogs
    Wednesday 18th November, Newington SE1

    Game one: SLAP 1 - Cogs 3
    Cameron 4.09
    John Cog 5.55
    Cameron 7.30
    John Mack 12.15

A close game, but with Cogs going up 3-0 by half time. John Mack getting one in for SLAP in the last few minutes. SLAP made a couple of great saves on the line too.

    Game two: SLAP 0 - Cogs 2
    Emmet 11seconds
    Cameron 12.04

Emmet took the lead for Cogs off the charge, followed by over 10 minutes of close play which could have seen the game go either way. However a slow goal that trickled in after 12 minutes put Cogs 2-0 up. Drama in the last minute, when Jonny had the ball within a metre of an open goal, but along charges Cameron and Jonny goes head-over heels behind goal. 15 seconds left to play in that game, but all eyes went to J... Aidan Turd (goal ref) quite rightly went to catch Jonny's head rather than seeing where the ball went!

    Game three: SLAP 2 - Cogs 3
    Cameron 5.40
    John Mack 6.07
    John Mack 6.36
    Emmet 9.19
    Emmet 10.00

Again Cogs got the first goal, but a beautifully angled shot by John levelled the scores. Another goal from John 30 seconds later gave SLAP the lead. However, two goals from Emmet in the 10th minute ensured another Cogs win.

SLAP were very unlucky not to walk away with a point from this fixture, but they are definitely playing better together as a team. Roll on your next game chaps.. who is it? Oh its us. Good luck! x

  • No, It was people pissing about with them who don't know what they're doing. When we arrived half the lights were off...that's not achieved my flipping one switch.

I didn't go look at the switches after the lights went off, so I can't comment on "people pissing about with them who don't know what they're doing," but it must have been the timer that turned them off. If they were on when people arrived, and it did the half-lights-off thing for a few minutes before them all going out, can't imagine what else it would have been.

  • hops, thanks again for reffing and putting the write-up in there. and though i didn't know too much about it at the time thanks to Turd for providing a loving cradle for my bonce. having rounded john cog i thought i was just slotting in the shot but cameron had different ideas - got to say i am impressed with how quick he got back to defend.

john mack, great finishing tonight dude. Cogs have got a real tight defence. i didn't know we had Los Conos next. lovely. newington next week perhaps?

  • ^ Sorry Sorry Sorry.

    Nice games though. Cheers all.

  • Roxy... 1pm at Downham sounds good to me.

Los Conos... thanks for the great games, difficult throughout, ELKs were knackered by the end of it!

  • Whelks you sho is ugly. And you smell of fish.

  • ha, cheers dan, better than being deformed and smelling like dog shit. (i wish this on no person)

Thanks for the game A,J & S was good fun playing you. Im sure its not long before youre climbing up the table. I lost count of the amount of times Ali took Ali out. I think we should have know elkbow pads mean trouble.xx

  • I have a few aches this morning, but the games were great and relentless. Well played ali, jo and hops; Ray is right elbow pads are becoming a bad omen.

    ELKS 2 - 0 Los Conos (Jono, 14.20)
(Otto did volley one in when ELKS were already 1-0 up, after a little chip pass from Ray, but it was ruled out for shufflage.)
