  • Aidan Turd (goal ref) quite rightly went to catch Jonny's head rather than seeing where the ball went!

Damn right too! got to protect the forum pin up

well played Cogs, thats a good result against a good side. sorry i didn't hang about to watch, i had a crap souffle to rustle up

  • No, It was people pissing about with them who don't know what they're doing. When we arrived half the lights were off...that's not achieved my flipping one switch.

Sounds like we need a tutorial.

    (not angry)

  • yeah, i think the lights timer must have been put back on by the council. There is an override switch but it is not the same as the switch we were using before. The override switch is the one right at the other end of the board that you have to have a long skinny double jointed arm for.

It is not the mains switch that is closet to you and really easy to get to. If you flip the mains switch to turn the lights off it will screw the timer so the lights won't come on until the mains switch is back up. Making the court unplayable for any locals.

Seriously if you don't know what you are doing, don't try and turn the lights on/off. Flipping random switches is only going to screw things and piss the locals off and will result in us losing the court.

ps. the notice about developing the courts for 8 to 16 year olds is not about the playing courts, it's about developing a play area elsewhere in the park.

    wise words right there.

    no knowledge, no touching

Yeah sorry Agata (is that even how you spell your name?) We needed you there with your plastic willy and flasher mac to cheer us on. We played well though,i think we deserved a point really but nevermind...

p.s thanks again aiden, it was really good having your support through all the games!!!

  • you probably won't get it again unless you spell his name right!

Cheers Cogs for the games, good fun all round - well played J&J, you were awesome last night.

  • Right back at ya slap, thanks for the games!

J Mack's native american chanting had me cracking up, far superior than a shout of "penis".

  • thanks to Turd for providing a loving cradle for my bonce.

no worries mate, we don't want any heads hitting the concrete, was a close one. kinda wished i'd known what happened to the ball too but at least we're all friends.

  • Yeah, my commute tomorrow morning is going to be pretty miserable.

  • I was just thinking about the sub situation and what has happened to the league players from last season who longer regularly play?

I know Little John and Dale are still playing, but haven't seen go harry, wee scott or dbt tom on a court for AGES!
