  • i really don't care how many players any team has, but it seems a shame as apart from chris their ain't no decent subs left.
apols bill but your being combative.

  • Bills the timmy mallet in this town...pic...snigger.

  • Who you calling speccy?

  • I thought aidan was already applying that rule for bad.;-)

    yes...wink.

  • Heh. Basically, ZU is a team of 4 players regardless of the league. Therefore, if either Brian or Hassan substitute for another player (especially against ZU) they would have a conflict of interest.
We're just looking out for you here...

    i feel truly tucked in.

  • I realise that no time is a good time to get bearded, but when are you slackers available?

May have to be next weekend if thats cool.

  • Turd, if you need a sub for Saturday, maybe you could ask one of the Oxford players who are planning on coming? Or there is Dale of course?

Good idea! (The Oxford players, not Dale, of course.)

  • Dale of course?

I'd ask little Emit before I asked Dale.

  • What time shall we kick off on Sat my man?

  • I'd have a little Emit before I asked Dale.

    :)

  • sunday will be fine. however we are not a wests team.

Well its our home game so there......

and we cant do this weekend anyway.
    so there.
can we do this by pm - its much easier than trawling through all the posts on here....

  • Elks/BRBPC matt asked for 1pm mallet-off on Saturday. Are we playing Mitch or Downham? Let's confirm and get the time in that there calendar.

Depends their interest...do they want silverware this season? ;-) one of them could be a hero sub if interested.

  • yes...wink.

Ha ha...you noticed that post! Wink wink indeed! ;-)

  • BAD, I'm waiting for the go-ahead from Josh, I'm in (though I'll wish I wasn't on Saturday at 8 when the alarm goes off).

  • 8? how long do you need to do your hair?

  • I like to look my best for fixtures.

  • Ok, BAD v Polo Fiasco Sat. 10 am Newington.

  • ELK's V's Los CoƱos

    4-2
    2-0
    3-1

I think thats right? Good fun games thank-you boys. Apologies for Ali's dirty play, i don't know what came over her. (No jokes about being dirty, or coming over people thanks)

  • hi i am a member of zombie army our team is mike, yorgo and hassan.

Brendan - Brian can you sub for us?
Brian - no. (i have a happy convenient arrangement with zombie to play for them when i'm in the country and when they need me, and will not sub for anybody else. This is my decision.)

    that's pretty much it.

  • yeah, how can one rule be enforced when another is being blatantly broken? (doesn't bother me either way, they can have eleven players if they want).

A rule was blatantly broken when the goal ref (and everyone who saw it) called a shot that went under the top of the cone a goal, yet Rik called it no goal.

  • Regarding how many members can be on a team -- you all may recall that during the rounds of voting for the rules, among the original set of questions was included: " Teams can have a permanent sub (i.e., 4th player for rotation)?" After some discussion on the forum, it was decided to remove this question from the polling.

I didn't check, but i'm pretty sure this was explicitly because people thought it was not an issue that we need to regulate, therefore giving implicit approval to have a permanent sub. No need to add another rule.
