If only I lived in town...
Speaking of which, anyone going past Intersport or whatever it's called in North Street on their travels today? Grab me a tennis racket grip from upstairs and bring to London tomorrow? Normally a couple in the eternal "massive 50% off sale" so around the £2.50 mark. Would be appreciated.
Or does anyone have any grip I could have? Just knocked up one of my Perros. Made it a bit longer than the other one. Want to try it tomorrow innit.

So, BFF? How'd everyone get on? I had a great weekend pulling nails out of floorboards :-|
Also what night are we on for this week, its my b-day Wednesday so I need to plan around that (getting a home brew kit so Maggys-Gut-Rot will be available courtside in 3-6 weeks)

BFF wasn't the most sparkling performance by the Brighton massive. I'm told none of us made it into elim stage. I left sharpish cos I was knackered, still knackered today. Good play from the good teams though I found it pretty tiring to compete in every game. No stamina.

Me and Arty Josh made it into the elimination rounds.
We were paired against Spring Break, so inevitably we lost. We managed to hold them off for the whole ten minutes and Josh scored and amazing goal from the far end of the court to make it a 4-1.

Let me know if you do consider it properly.

Well done Tim & Josh!
Josie, thanks for subbing for us at the last minute.
Not able to make throw ins today - got to try and fit 2 flat viewings and a 70th birthday party around a busy working day. Sheesh kebab!
Re GYSO Shoreham. I still haven't heard back from him. Didn't get a chance to call him yesterday. I'll try and do it today and let you know how I get on.
Can't remember who I was talking to at the weekend about buying lights and a generator rather than shelling out £70 a pop for moulescoomb or wherever. I've already got one security light on a tall pole with a base that I'd be prepared to loan to polo. Storage and transpport wouyld be an issue, but if it saves us money, I think it's something worth considering. What does everyone else think?

Ok Gang.
We're booked for Shoreham this Thursday (2 days time) between 6-8pm.
Jay from the centre is getting back to us about an introductory price for a trial session but we need as many bums on seats as possible to keep the cost down as well as get a good consensus decision about how suitable the place is for us.
The ideal situation would be if we could adequately play on the smaller court (14-18) which is smaller than the suggested smallest in the LHBPA ruleset. It has much higher availability and will be cheaper.
both courts will be free until 8 at which point the bigger court (25-50) will be used by the roller derby guys. Next Tuesday was no good because of an extra practise session for the roller derby in preparation for some event.
Meet at the station at 17.15 for the 17.33 train which should leave enough time to track down some of these illusive 'group buy' tickets.
I'm guessing we'll have to be pretty blown off our feet to justify the expenditure inc train fares each week, but we'll see when we get there.

This is a 'doodle' link.
If everyone can fill in their availability on the form, we can get an idea of the best time for everyone.

Ignore the dates and treat it as a theoretical week.

I'm out. Too much of a faff, I'm sticking to Sunday's only throughout the winter. Peace.
I'm planning on having a good rig around on some of the Cambridge bikes and seeing is something like that might suit me.
