I'm so dumb I thought you meant the current Duke of York, Prince Andrew. I then mused about your Monarchist sympathies and surmised to execute you first, should the revolution come.
I'll come down when I'm able. Probably with Liam after our respective works.

If you put bull horns on a polo bike I will not play with you.

Hate to bring it up, but did everyone who played at Moulescoomb last night pay their 'subs'? I'm trying to work out the finances so I can tell y'all what's left in the bank.
-
• #2411
I didn't. How much was each share for last night's court? I'll pay that.

Hey gang - opinion please.
Just got this from Big Daddy Wayne, seems a bit steep to me. I've said if it's still around on Sunday we can talk, but that 350-400 would be more like what I would pay.
I also don't like the unnecessary pressure in that PM. He said 4 people PM'ed him about it. surely he should offer the price to the first person to PM, not play everyone off each other in a race to bid, this aint fleabay.
What d'yous reckons?
Reet - details and pics for ya
Pomp [M]
White Industries 20t freewheel [plus generic 18 on other side]
Goldtec 48's on sputniks
thomson seatpost
Profile cranks and chainring [170mm]
Shimano deore v-brake rearthe only thing not included from the photos is the saddle - I'm looking for £500 and I'll sell to the first person, chronologically, from my PM's that hits the asking price
I can bring it to BFF on Sunday if that helps

Anyone got a cheap dual brake lever knocking around? Need one for Sunday..

Dice: We all put a tenner in, with the exception of the students who put in what they had (£9 & £8 respectively). Assuming you're happy to put a tenner in as well, and with Tim's extra fiver, we'll have £42.55 left in the kitty.
Tim: Sweet bike! I think it is worth what he's asking, but you never achieve the price you ask for when you're selling a second hand bike. It is pretty tricked out. All you'd need to do is add the front brake and a dual lever. £400 would be a bargain. How much do you think you'd get for the Bruiser?
-
• #2416
But don't you already have a good set of componants for a bike tim? Do you need a complete bike and not just a frame?
-
• #2417
Assume nothing. How much was each person's share of the court for the time we hired it for?
I'll put in a tenner for argument's sake as all I can see happening is people being shitty with me if I don't. I won't do it in future, not unless we actually agree on what subs are for, how much they are and when they're due.
-
• #2418
Tim are you selling your Bruiser already?
BDW seems to get a lot of forum love, but what that represents in reality is anyone's guess.
You in London on Sunday?

Whatever you think is fair. There's no obligation for anyone to pay a bean if they don't wanna.

Tim, BDW is an OG dude. Sure no unecessary pressure was intended.
Sorry to see the fuji leave brighton :(

I wouldn't pay that. Just cause it's overpriced in the beginning doesn't mean its worth that. If I were selling it i'd be looking for £200 or so...don't rip off a brother :)

Tim , I agree with woody just buy a frame & swap over the components, also I think the asking price is a little steep , you don't need to rush in & buy the 1st one that is available.....right ? Head over heart hombre ! X
-
• #2424
Tru dat.
I also need wheels, which would have made the purchase make sense.
-
• #2425
Tim, selling the post, free wheel and cranks would get you the best part of 200, no?
...but most of you are stupid.
