Thinking about heading down to PP for a little solo polo if it stays dry this afternoon...unless anyone else fancies a little knock around? Won't be for a while - only just got home, got to fit a brake, have lunch etc. Let me know?
I might be in, can you PM me your number Chris?

Calling all courtside mechanics: I want to swap my wheels over, but to do this I also need to swap the freewheels over. Is this possible courtside tomorrow, or is it a Cranks/vice job? I've got a 4 toothed freewheel remover somewhere for the 16t, but from memory this was useless except when using a vice. The 20t has got 2 small holes on it's face that look like they must be there for a removal tool to get hold of...which I don't have.

Chris, anything is possible with the right tools. Bring the whole shebang down to Cranks before Polo tomorrow, say 12.30 and we'll see what can be done. I'll confirm this with Julian and let you know.
The ski-poles that Tenderloin bought were brought to Cranks too, although 2 of them are carbon and thus a bit trickier to deal with attaching them to the pole. Good work though Joe!
EDIT: Chris does that 20t have just 2 indents on it? That could be removed with something like this - http://www.parktool.com/product/freewheel-remover-FR-2 , or is it different again?

i thought it might be one like this with no grooves

Any chance I could borrow the SS Marin for polo tomorrow, if I come by cranks first to pick it up?
Research hasn't pulled up much on how to use carbon poles, other than it can/has been done, just not sure how!

Holy shit, that freewheel is mad! Why would you make something that couldn't be removed?

Polo! Today at 1pm Preston Park Courts. Look at that blazing ball of gas in the sky!

Because it's cheaper and they expect the bikes they're specced on to die before the freewheel does.

freewheel is like the second one. No grooves. Ordered another one tonight - other wheel on and a spare 20t'd polo rear to boot. Job done. Was good today, that was. Where are we going to aim for on Wednesday?

Sorry we missed you Rich...we must have left 10 mins or so before you appeared! On a side note, my frames as knackered as Danny's balls!!!

Think I've come up with a neat solution to the carbon poles (what I was doing whilst being locked in!)
Julian can I borrow that Marin polo bike, or will you be using it? I needz to practice innit.
-
• #1424
Yeah man, could I get those spokes from you as well? If my missus needs it I'll have to get it back though!! Workshop on Friday?

Yeah, no probs, what are the chances of borrowing it for polo tomorrow? if not then Friday's cool.
