Those patch cables are sweet. What are they?

Lava Tightrope... You get a few feet of cable, some plugs and a special little cable cutter gizmo and away you go... Pretty easy and I'm normally quite cack-handed at these types of things...

Voltage seems right, but the DD3 pulls about 54mA - is it getting enough from your PSU?

Hey, maybe someone here can help me.
I worked a few summers when I was at school and bought a bass, as I was starting to get into playing. The only decent guitar shop near me had a fretless bass which I was really digging, so I blew my cash on it and never really played it, especially as I went to university soon after.
It's a Hoyer fretless - not much info about the brand but seems fairly sound. I'm looking to shift it now as it has been sitting in my parent's house under beds for far too long. Can anyone give me an idea of how much its worth, and where the best place to sell it might be? It doesn't have a hardcase so I'm a bit loathe to package and send it in case it gets damaged...

The brand Hoyer has cropped up on basschat a few times but they've mostly been Gibson-esque shapes so they might be a different thing.
I would sign-up to Basschat.co.uk & ask on there.

So the whistling culprit in my signal chain was the Murderess fuzz, Tim has amped it up so high that it starts whistling when the volume is over 7...
All fixed now!

So Tim of Tym's Guitars fame is starting to build guitars again... He's got a couple of Epi Crestwood Custom Deluxe bodies already built from a few years back that he never finished, just need to be glued, painted and built up...
I am in line for a Polaris White... I live in hope... It's a competitive business, I'll have to sell the Les Paul Custom cuz I wanna buy a fucking house...

The 'asp not ass' rang a bell, couldn't remember the other one... Refers to the chorus in Cleopatra... 'She'll make you kiss her asp...'
That record was cut by Porky, no? Or maybe it was our first one he did...

Advice please...
I'm thinking about ditching the idea of buying a Jag and upgrading my Tokai Str*t instead... Mick Brierley pickups and a new high quality harness from I-don't-know-where yet...
My only concern is it does go out of tune easily once I've been doing my anti-rock dive bombing on it... Will more springs help that? I've only got three in atm...
It just feels so good and does everything I want a guitar to do for this band, quite like the idea that it'll piss some people off as well... 😂😂😂

Question for the pedalboard nerds...
Everything's cabled up and working and sounding fine apart from a whistling BOSS DD3, is that because it needs more power? It's getting 9v, it says it needs 9v on the sticker next to the socket but when I take it out of the chain the whistling stops... It's deffo the culprit... Does it need 18v?
It means I'll lose an output on the PSU but I've got a couple of high power outputs that I can use to power more than one pedal... So should be OK, I hope... The Lava Tightrope worked really well!
