I'm looking at those, been using the vibe setting on my zoom but it's always on (super, super subtly) so I think it needs its own spot on the mini board.

Yeah the chorus/vibrato footswitch was the selling point to me. I do have a Danelectro Vibe pedal which sounds great and a Small Clone I've modded for vibrato, but being able to switch will make it a lot more usable. As you say, I love a subtle bit of vibrato or vibe to add movement, more so than the in-you-face Hendrix type use. Will report if and when I get it - it's on preorder, so even if the birthday is this weekend I wouldn't get my foot on it for a few more weeks...

My mate used a Dunlop Rotovibe pedal in the 90's! Love that sound

@EB always wanted a Rotovibe since I first listened to Mad Season but it's constantly been one of the most expensive pedals on the market, and rare to boot, meaning chances of bagging a second hand one for a half decent price are close to none...!

I'll ask him if he's still got it. I bet he'd sell it to be honest!

Had another good jamalam thru a cranked Marshall down my mate's studio last week. Took the SG and the re-necked Tele having had to to fettle the nut over the holidays. Finding I'm really enjoying the whole thing. It has tall narrow frets, and a 7"radius and for whatever reason I just seem to be able to fly around it in exactly the way I couldn't on the old neck. Could be psychosomatic but I'm sure it sounds better too. Chunkier neck and rosewood board? Either way I'm dead chuffed. Think i'm gonna switch back the OG neck PU tho. Full on Cropper.

Resurrected another mate's instrumentstoday. A '96 Squier P-bass that was disgustingly filthy. Gave it a deep clean (deep in the crack), fixed a dry solder joint, new strings, conditioned the board, set it up and it's playing and sounding great. Very satisfying. Still on the hunt for one of my own.

Oh and Amazon accidentally sent me box of 6 sets of strings instad of the one I ordered so I'm set for life now.. Heh.

Lol I had exactly the same experience. Total ignorance to total want in about an hour. I always loved the look of a Jazzmaster but I only play short scale guitars, so this really ticks a lot of boxes. Having owned a few Japanese Fenders I have a lot of trust in their quality control so I'm happy to buy on sight.

@alex_s I went for the sunburst - I love those pastel ones and I'd love a sparkly one one day but I've always loved the offsets in sunburst:

I love how the junior sizing makes those soapbar pickups look oversized and friendly. I think this guitar is going to be a friend for life.
