Hello all, I'm new to this fixies thing, but this looks like a good one to be my first big ride. I've only done a few short distances so far, in my bedroom, and up the hall to my mums purse, but i think I'm ready.

i recce'd this route last night. it's sweet! some nice flats, a few technical turns and a bit of an incline right at the beginning to get you warmed up. the cyclocross part between shaftsbury and holborn makes it super exciting, too. a great route...

I'll race you in a bendy bus.

This ride cannot be a spoof. It has to happen. We need a date and say 1000 riders committed to it. Perhaps Velocio, when returned fresh from his holiday and banning OOL, could provide leadership.
