From Cycling News
Simon Gerrans (Team Sky) resembled a boxer or street fighter who'd been on the end of a good beating in Cambrai on the morning of stage four of the Tour de France.
The Australian rider’s movements were slow and deliberate, and his face bore witness to some of his injuries: four stitches in his cheek, and extensive bruising around a particularly nasty black eye.
But there was more. "I lost a fair bit of skin down one side," said Gerrans, who seemed, nonetheless, keen to accentuate the positive. "I've still got one side to sleep on," he shrugged.Respect

Is there one for Jurgens Roelandts as well. That recovery he made from stacking it on the corner on Tuesday was pretty impressive as well?

Four Cat 4s and three sprints today. Looks like this may be a day for Hushovd to go out for points.
Maybe we'll see Cav dropped again like stage 2 (I doubt it, the profile map doesn't really look nearly as "hilly", and Cav will probably be looking to make up for lost points now that he's remembered how to pedal at the end of the stage).

this?
Thats the one. The standard red version (not super leg) has had something like 40% knocked off at my favourate Norwegien net shop. Full chorus (10spd), Zonda wheels, and only 27,000 NOK (£2.6k). I've just spent that on an IKEA kitchen!?
goes down stairs to spit at damned rotating IKEA cupboards

Still a little disappointed that Evans hasn't gotten into any of the big crashes because I've got him down for flailing at a reporter like a girl guide.
Really want Cadel to do well enough to draw the attention of the reporters, hopefully for a few more nuggets like last year

oh, they were the days. good to see the tour has changed little, although this resembles more of a forum ride

Love part where they raid a cafe for wine, champagne and beer and just bugger off without paying

It used to be considered an honour to be sat on an al fresco table and have your drink nicked by a passing tour rider.
That film was made by Louis Malle, bloody hell.

'How deep is your rim?, Sounds like a Bee gees song.'
Funny commentators on Eurosport, yesterday one was talking about how his brooks saddle and special nos leather straps on his carlton got eaten by foxes.

It sounds like *nothing *is happening in today's stage. The live text on cyclingnews.com is going on about who is taking their shirt off.

Sean Kelly sounding totally non-plussed by the utterly useless fact imparted to him about banana importing...
Brilliant ! -
