  • i think there is nothing wrong with a draw in the league.
    1 point draw
    3 points win

  • is this the 4th malice configuration? I think once you've used the name malice in more that 3 configurations you should have to use a new name, LHBPAPEHCPB rules

    I second that motion.

    Vote?

  • Can Zombie and Malice just swap?

  • Malice Inconsistent

  • Malice Nconsistent

    fixed.

  • Guys, Malice, Guys

  • How about if he changed it to "My Lice"?

  • Guys, Malice, Guys

    hahah

  • Oh, missed this whole discussion, but i'm rolling on the ground laughing reading it.

I'm cool with Cambridge and Oxford coming down.

    Stop, Drop, and Roll.

  • "28 players later" who suggested that?

  • Hassan. I lol'd.

  • When are we starting the league? 1st September? Bank Holiday weekend (29/30/31st August)? Can we elect a small group of people to take decisions re: rules, fixtures etc, instead of having long drawn out discussions on this forum?

I nominate Matt V, Mike T, DT, Hops & Lal.

Don't have a problem either, but all the more reason to have some sort of entry fee - that way teams can show that they are serious.

Someone was asking earlier what we would spend the money on.

Some decent brooms! I think we have broken about 4 in the last year at Downham alone.

I'm happy to do this. We could look over what's been said here, come up with a plan, and then present it for vote. Should we include Gabes since he started this thread?

I'm not against this, but it's only been 2 days since this thread started, the bank holiday weekend isn't for three weeks and this hasn't been full of that much long drawn out discusion.

    What's really left to decide?

As I said though I am happy for those nominated to do all the wo... I mean, to make the decisions.

Oh and I think there should be a (nominal) entry fee, £15 per team sounds fair. Subs shouldn't have played in any other team (in a league game obviously). 20 mins per game. Top team should go through to the euros (assuming the euros are capped per town and that team actually want/can go). There should be draws, it's Britain after all, all our sports have the posibility of draws. But a draw should be worth less than half a win. One team is designated as home and they get final say on location timing ect (otherwise who defaults if no-one can make it for 2 weeks?), although no one actually has a home ground.

    Yet! ;-)

i disagree it didnt need this many people last time...

sort fixtures, update blog, update table, this was done by mark and mikey... the rest was all shit talking.

    and...

    • i think the one meeting at the beginning worked.
  • Yet! ;-)

It's an internet forum, it's not doing it's job if there aren't petty squables and long drawn out arguements about stuff that is basically completely meaningless.

nb, i'm not saying polo is meaningless, I'm saying whether we play to 15 or 20 mins a game is.
