London Bike Polo League II (winter 2009/2010)

if we're going to time the games (which i think is a great idea), do we allow draws or do we go to a golden goal?

If we can call games draws what points do the teams get?
0 - same as a loss
1 - same as a win
1/2- half point

I was talking to someone from Oxford yesterday, and the idea came up of letting Cambridge and Oxford enter a team. I think it would be awesome, but of course, they'd need to play their games in London. Thoughts?

happy for them to come down, but thats a lot of travelling and if they bail halfway through the season it'll be a bit of c*nt

We'd have to rename the league South East England Bike Polo League, tho.

Once every two weeks? that's not that bad. I'm planning on being up in Oxford 1 or 2 days every week for the next few years.

We could encourage/allow them to have team subs, so they only ever need to get three out of 4 or 5 players.

No pref on draw over golden golden, but if we go for allowing a draw, we have to award 1/2 point.

Why not 3 for win, 1 for draw & FA for losing, the difference between draw and win should be greater than the difference between drawing and losing for various clever logical reasons i can't go into right now
