Pretty convenient location too, will definitely have to pay a visit! Where do all the fixie heads hang out at in Belfast?
-
• #303
I am not aware of any cool places where the fixie kidz hang out. There a bike courier company but it's got one employee and he doesn't ride fixed.
Hipsters can be spotted near The MAC arts center/Cathedral Quarters.

Don't know if there's much of a 'hang out' but there's the Wednesday night ride or the lazy Sunday ride that always seems to end up at the dirty duck
-
• #305
Where does this ride start from? Would love to meet up with some people and go for a ride, I've got hardly any bike friends in belfast
-
• #306
Wednesday night ride goes from Albert clock at 6 and Sundays are usually the big fish around 1
-
• #307
Don't think I can make any this week, could go down next wednesday
Will someone be my friend ?
-
• #308
Don't know if I can make it but I'm sure the guys there will gladly welcome you. The more the merrier n'all that
-
• #309
Can't make it either, but I can wait at Albert Clock and then scoot home if you want to meet somebody from lfgss first.
I've to go to B&Q Wednesday. Yes. Excitement. But I need gubbins/screws for a bike build that's my excuse and sticking to it :P

Noticed a nice Vigorelli outside Peter Oliver in Ballyhackamore the other night, anyone on here? First I've seen in Belfast. I'd love one but no mullah.
-
• #312
Haven't spotted that one yet. You see the occasional lovely vintage steel ride in Belfast too. The road bikes are coming out again as it's summer.
-
• #313
Seen quite a few fixed gear bikes around the East lately. I'd probably spot more if I actually got out on mine!
-
• #314
Seen that vigorelli about town once or twice
Roller racing tonight in whites at 6. Mon down. I'm out of work at 5 if anyone is around

weather hit and miss wednesday spin as always.
anyone up for a mellow one sunday afternoon?
-
• #320
Anybody up for spin today? Holywood or out to Lisburn or Comber if people WANT longer spin :) (urgh auto correct on phone)
Well no takers...off to Lisburn on me own
-

Sunday seems a bit of a ghost town. I'm never in the right state of mind for a long spin always the fear knocking at the door.
Wednesdays are pretty handy and has been a group of us doing for about 5 years and always post ride food :)
-
• #322
Hmmm food... Alas, I can't make Wednesdays not home before 2100 as I need to get to Comber Road and back that day.
Fear of long spins? It is the p_nct_r monster?
-
• #323
Not fear of long spins, fear of that Monday morning alarm clock.
Anyone up for a spin Friday, could maybe even go 30miles.
-
• #324
Generally so far Sunday has been Big Fish to Dirty Duck starting 1300 so shouldn't be too bad.
Not sure if free Friday 30 miles sounds good though :)

Take a spin out the Greenway to Comber and on to Daft Eddy's. Don't go on Sundays though its full of roadies then.
