If anyone can get me some Winter Gloves in L or Grand Tour mitts in M/L in white, I'd offer buyer's fee/forum donation/naming of my firstborn or whatever you prefer.
*l/s baselayers, 3/4 bibs and softshell jacket, all in L also appreciated ;)

That queue is a fairly damning representation of the gap between the marketing message and the reality of those who wear Rapha. Mamils.

• #7354
hehe "rough trade" queue..

ha ha! stick it to the man!

I'm going to shave my moustache off.
Rapha have jumped the shark. -
• #7357
fuck that queue. Glad I didn't bother going down now.

Glad I went yesterday (queueing is for commoners). Worth noting: prices have gone up, lots of trousers, shorts and 3/4ers, good selection of LS stuff, not so great for SS and bibs.

Fuck it, glad i didn't go this morning.
I should have bought some stuff last week using discount codes.
I'm surprised that with a such a huge demand for rapha no one else is trying to fill the gap in the market.
(going back to spamming torm with emails asking for womens collection)

Friends and family took all the jackets?
-
• #7362
utter waste of time. mostly all the shit country jerseys, poorly made gloves and the Paul smith stuff not so popular it seems)

Pro bundle arrived this morning (pro shirt and pro bibs).. First impression is very impressive. It's the nearest thing to wearing a skinsuit in terms of anatomical fit (it's uncomfortable to stand straight in them. But assume the ride position and hey presto!).
Yet to ride in them of course and this will be the acid test but I have a gut feeling the "ride" will be as good as the fit..
The pro team jersey is the best jersey I own, the fit on it is perfect. Right down to me skinny arms. Grabbed it from the previous sample sale for £35 - bargain. No time or money for messing around this year :(

how big is the q?

went this morning and was in the 'first in' group. Not that much on offer that I fancied. No bib shorts etc. Noticed the prices had gone up a lot since the last oen (I missed the summer one as was away). That said still got a couple of things I liked but nowhere near as fun as normal.

Heading over now. if theres no £35 jerseys, the money is going on £34 of salt beef in a £1 bagel

Now that would be epic.

Judging by the queue photo, seems like people have beat you to it.

Any ideas on pricing?
Last summer:
S/S jerseys were £35
Bibshorts were £40and so on. Have they increased the prices a lot? Just thinking about whether it is worth going at all.

Damn It.
Missed out on the reduced price of the knitted hat. Anyone got one in Red they want to sell?
Not for £45 you understand.... :) -

Somone on tha that Bikeradar thread is suggesting the PS city jacket is available for £60
Can anyone confirm that, or is it the Jersey?
That's a proper bargain at £60, I may have to bunk off this afternoon if that's the case.....

Queue was long ting. Turned around, bought a wheelbarrow of salt beef but now regretting not having a jersey due to the intense beef sweat
