Rapha, nice but a bit pricey?

Nervous about Rapha shorts but by all accounts these are equal to Assos.

Figures of course.. but the bundle of shirt and shorts was too good to pass up..

rapha have produced some good deals recently and i still have alot of gear collected over the years.. a gilet still holding up, winter bib tights still feel comfy 5 years on.. everything is an investment that provides no excuse not to ride regardless of the weather

Pro bundle arrived this morning (pro shirt and pro bibs).. First impression is very impressive. It's the nearest thing to wearing a skinsuit in terms of anatomical fit (it's uncomfortable to stand straight in them. But assume the ride position and hey presto!).

Yet to ride in them of course and this will be the acid test but I have a gut feeling the "ride" will be as good as the fit..

May head over at lunch but cant be arsed standing in a Q for over an hour just to find out that anything in medium is gone. Only really after a replacement pair of pro mitts and some socks

I can't, got a lecture at 11 but I've asked xander to get me some bibshorts if he sees any and if not I might head down tomorrow morning when they restock
