Wow. So some overwhelming praise for the Wind Jacket. Just need to check my balance, decide on a colour and pull the trigger.
Three words for you...Pro Team Jacket.
...not on sale so a bit priceyThe price is the real issue. But also I tend to run hot, I am not that likely to be 'suffering' in real Arctic conditions, and I would rather have as versatile clothing as possible. So for those reasons I'm out. It's also why I've written off the Classic Softshell which is on sale.

But only in sizes suitable for primary school children, sadly.

what is the overall opinion about the winter gloves?
I have these atm: http://www.rosebikes.co.uk/article/gore-bike-wear-gore-gore-tex-winter-gloves-countdown/aid:440113Although they are nice and warm, no matter how cold it is my hands tend to get a bit sweaty (not a lot) but because of that when I take my hands out of them post ride the liner comes with it and it is REALLY REALLY hard to get it back in, apart from that they are nice.
-
• #11031
i never got on with the rapha ones, they made my hands sweaty and werent particularly warm unless you had liner gloves as well. i sent them back
-
• #11032
^ i guess I will go and try them in the store
-
• #11033
I was going to go for large - chest is 39.5" - 41.5"
Do they come up quite big?
Annoyingly I'm sure I should have a 10% off for "referring a friend".

The wind jacket is one of their finest items, I got rid of mine because I didnt like the poncy Rapha logo on the back

I'm looking at getting the wind jacket. I recently ordered the softshell to see what all the fuss is about. I'm underwhelmed. It's going back.

There are a few interesting factoids buried in this Washing Machine Post interview with Mottram et al. at Rapha about the Sky hook up.
Rapha offering custom club kits by the end of the year being one.
-
• #11037
That'd make the Brixton Cycles club kit cheaper.

£20?! You'd be a mug to pay that much for such a boring looking vessel.
-
• #11039
Yeah and it's not even proper mug size.
-
• #11040
Luckily everything else Rapha is reasonably priced and good value for money... Just imagine it they were to add hipster tax!
-
• #11041
haha

can you get done for selling stolen goods on ebay?
-
• #11044
Of course, the Act itself:
http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1968/60/section/22/enactedHandling stolen goods:
(1) A person handles stolen goods if (otherwise than in the course of the stealing) knowing or believing them to be stolen goods he dishonestly receives the goods, or dishonestly undertakes or assists in their retention, removal, disposal or realisation by or for the benefit of another person, or if he arranges to do so.
(2) A person guilty of handling stolen goods shall on conviction on indictment be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding fourteen years.
14 years in prison for it.
That it's via eBay is irrelevant.

• #11045
Luckily the police take this sort of thing extremely seriously, and will leap into action as soon as you report it.

To serve and protect...

/Sarcasm.
As the thread title suggest "nice, but pricey", pricey as fuck that is.

The cups are actually very good, look reasonably stylish (compared to my Coronation Street mugs) and are available, without the Rapha logo for a lot less:

Anyone have the LS Country Jersey and/or the LS City Riding Jersey? I'm considering one of either and would like some reccommendations.
