Anyone have the LS Country Jersey and/or the LS City Riding Jersey? I'm considering one of either and would like some reccommendations.
I have a l/s country jersey and it the best l/s jersey I've ever had.
I prefer the fit too as the l/s jerseys with the full zip don't seem to sit right. I like mine so much that I've just ordered a spare in the sale.

Yep, I also have the LS Country Jersey and the thing is amazing. Wore it over only a LS summer-weight synthetic baselayer today and was warm all day, climbing and descending in temps down to about 4 Celcius. And it's so fucking snuggly soft, I want to live in it.
The guy in the store told me the Country Jersey fits wider across the chest than the full-zip LS Jersey. Definitely fits me better.

It's a nice little set.
Is that the Sunday Telegraph crossword?

Yes, it's in the process of being rebranded to the Sufferday Telegrapha.

Nice to see pictures of Wiggo in his Full Rapha/ Sky gear pedalling around Majorca, looks cold though.

It's not. I've just come back from Mallorca. 18C on a cold day. 25C on a warm day. Up in the mountains it can get to 3C which is why everyone is riding around in full winter gear at 18C right now.

Think it said it was 10 degrees centigrade today, temperature drops 2.5 degrees per 1000ft so with climbs of about 2-3000 ft that would be about right.

Gotta say I'm loving the bomber jacket and softshell trousers on the commute in this icy weather.

+1
Softshell jacket + Softshell trousers are the perfect combo at the moment.
Rode home in the worst of the heavy sleet yesterday and remained warm and totally dry..

Has anyone got the rapha shoes? Care to comment/post a long term review?
-
• #11072
nice, but a bit pricey ...
(They are based on a pair of Giro shoes, so might be worth looking them up if you can't find any reviews of the Rapha ones)
-

Ive done the google run around, including the giro reviews. But mostly there are out of the box reviews of people with multiple pairs of shoes. I'd like a review by a dude whose ridden them every ride for six months or so. Are the heel pads replaceable? Does the leather last? Anything you dont like? Do they hold up in rain? Do you wish you purchased the white/black? Would you buy them again?
Surprisingly, in my opinion, there's nothing similar in the market.

Just found the Giro Empire.

Not as convincing as the R GT shoes though. The Rapha ones look like they will last about 3-4 yrs. The giro ones look like 1-2 years.
I got a pair for Christmas and today was their first proper outing. Think they're great. A bit sweaty after use but I'll take that for how toasty my hands were all day
