  • 32" black cotton trousers. interested?
I'm only a week or so out so might email them to see if I can exchange but I keep forgetting. I want something that fits like the skinny 3/4s but full-length...

  • Too big for me sorry!

  • no worries

  • Interested! Borderline 32 - might be workable.

  • buy a rapha baselayer and a cheaper jersey.
    baselayer is awesome

    boom there you go nev

    RBL30 for 30% off a base layer

  • Interested! Borderline 32 - might be workable.

noted. bit busy at the mo (although I have done precisely NOTHING today :/ ) but will get you to try them on some time.

  • Are the Rapha base layers fooking amazing? I'm tempted, but £45.50 is still twice as much as perfectly good base layers from Decathlon.

In other news, I'm starting to lust after some Twin 6 stuff. Anyone got experience with these jerseys?

  • Some base layers have a lower gsm than other, as well as being 80% merino, etc.

Lots of info in the merino topic.

  • fixedcheese, ive tried endura baabaa and planet x. nice but pricey rapha ones are the nuts! washed and sweated in profusely for over a year and still mint
discount code takes them back to the pre sky price hike.

  • Have they dropped the triple pack merino bundles?

  • nah its just not in the deal!

  • endura baabaa a little itchy, it work but not really that comfortable.

  • Sleeveless baselayer: does anyone wear black in the summer?

  • Suppose this answers my question.

  • I prefer my planet x baselayers to my rapha ones, but I'm a weirdo.

  • if we're discussing baselayers the Torm ones need an honorable mention. Have barely taken mine off

  • They're hardly comparable at 60% polyester though. I much prefer the 100% merino baselayers.

  • sportpursuit has pretty decent discounts on icebreaker merino baselayers, hoodies, hats, etc at the moment. long sleeve ones are 33 quid vs RRP of 60. I think they are nice and not so pricey.

  • I think the Rapha base layer is their best bit of kit by miles. They last bloody ages and are way comfier than any others I've tried.

  • yeah I feel like a badass walking around in that base layer before/after. But my fav part of it is how nice it looks at the nect when the jersey zipper is halfway down.

all looks heh. been reading too many pages of http://forallmyfriends.com/tag/accidentally-pro

  • Sorry. Icebreaker for the win. Easily the best.

  • icebreaker baselayers are too heavy for a lot of cycling applications

  • lies. My icebreaker marino base layer has served me well for about 4 years now, never get too hot or too cold be it sitting in my room in the highlands with no heating on or cycling through the snow.

  • but you were the person who did not overheat in the softshell

I sold my softshell, the arms were too long, it wasn't warm enough

i now believe you are one of our lizard overlords, and your opinion is invalid

    btw, happy birthday

  • I don't overheat in my softshell up to about 10C and I typically run hot. I just wear it over a summer baselayer.
