you need bar end plugs and a gear over 80in would be advisable plus you must wear a helmet.

Will there be an induction session on the day before racing starts (similar to the last tarck day)?

I'm still wondering...

1. are there bikes to borrow/rent at the track? I'm not buying new bars just for this;
   
2. insurance? most velodromes here require it but I don't see anything to that effect on the website.
   

Yes, though the bikes you can rent for the day aren't great, but they are free, the fuji tracks they own are rented out all season and no you don't need a licence for this as it's
not an official event.

RPM's getting the derny out so we'll have a proper pacer for the Keirin (and JC can take it easy all afternoon)... Gonna cost us a bit more to do this so it'll be £7 instead of £6 to register... Well done, Rob... You lucky people! :]
