oh yeah its super helpful I hope you are sponsored though!
Plus its a wrong bike, a gravel bike needs to clear 29 x 2.2 WITH mud clearance, other wise its a hybrid.
Thanks for attending my TED talk.

Fair. Should come up nice on my 28mm (external) carbon rims.

I'm sponsored by me working my arse off and paying for everything myself. Why do you think I have very little brand allegiance with this stuff? There's not many brands that make good enough stuff at reasonable prices that deserve mentions.
Nope, >2" and you're on an XC bike with drop bars.

Fast good weather tyres for road and outdoor track (hhv)?
My frame can take 28s, would that negatively effect me much on the track at high psi?
Cheers :) -

Even 25s are too big for the track really.
Specialized Turbo Cotton 24 (or 26 if you really need the extra cushion and cornering grip in rough roads) with latex tubes.

700x35/38c options, mostly on the road, but my daily cycling has me going through parks and old canals paths where I have the urge to cycling on the grass/mud, what's good so I don't end up flat on my face. Tubeless ideally, but don't mind tube for cost savings and more options.

I got a pair of new gumwall 38c WTB riddlers if you're interested.

schwalbe g-one all-round is good for that

I'm not KentGuy™ doing "epic" 60k on the weekend though am I? I wear them out.
Think I've had 8 x 650B tyres - 2 pairs came with the wheels, I wore one set out and sold the other set.
Had a new 650b front wheel built with dynamo so that needed a new tyre - Mezcal was a bit tight so got the Pirelli Gravel M that I'm riding now.
Still got the Venture on the back and the other front wheel has the Venture on it. Mezcal will go on the back when I wear out the rear Venture.
When I get a hardtail, the gravel bike will probably go back to less meaty tyres once I've worn out the big'uns.

Planetx have the g-one ultrabite and terrabite listed but only the ultrabite is listed on schwalbes site. Is this just classic planetx bad listing or has the terrabite been discontinued/renamed?
Which one is more knobbly?

That's odd, I've done a few hundred miles on my 32c slick GKs and not had a single puncture yet! I really like them to be honest. Sounds like my experience isn't typical though.

forum complainers are hardly a representative sample of gk users. like there are plenty of people that run gk or even rh tires sans anamolous punctures.

Has anyone used Schwalbe Impac Crosspac in 26? Looking to replace the cracked ancient tyres on an old Raleigh I picked up. Mostly going to be seeing paths/tarmac/gravel with a smidge of singletrak if I feel adventurous. Happy for alternatives but for 20 a pair on eBay I can't expect too much. Google reviews for 700c looks largely positive.

I got some Nanos from wiggle, but I don't think there's stock anymore.
Kenda small block is another choice -

I had a set of Halo Twin-Rail for commuting and a bit of light gravel/dirt through the parks. Awful if there was any mud but they were a pretty good compromise.

How about the schwalbe hurricane?
For 26 I thought Continental had a better selection than Schwalbe, but this was when it was easily possible to import Contis from germany..

On the hunt for some meaty rubber (oh-er missus) for my Squid. 700c or 29er, pretty slick for mad skidzz and up to 43mm wide. Extra points for tan wall.
What does the hive mind recommend, or has anyone got a suitable pair that they’d sell?

I have WTB exposure. Not the fastest (that would be slick gravelkings) but hardworking and nice real gumwalls.

Challenge Strada Bianca now come up in 40c version tan wall.
I had the 36c a few years ago, really supple ride

Also, has anyone got a old used up WTB Byway 700x44 I could try for sizing?

If feel like when you say KentGuy you are thinking of me - still love you bro... xxx
I like to document so that if someone is looking for the relevant info they can find it easily (this includes my fucked memory).
Finding what size tyres actually come up on different rims and what will fit in different frames is the fucking bane of bike tyre choice these days.
Basically, if you don't accurately document your tyre usage you're a total bastard and should hand your bikes in immediately.
