65kg usually happy to run at 100psi
I've got 30gk on you and usually run 100psi (when I remember to inflate 'em) so you could definitely reduce pressure.
Nicer ride, more grip - a wonderful world of joy awaits you...

I'm 79 and run 100 psi rear and 80 front.
In other news how do people find conti ultrasonic tyres? I just mounted a 23c and it came out at under 19mm.

I might have some 4 seasons for sale, pretty brand new, only used once, it still has some of the excess rubber/mold on the tyre
it's a 25 and a 23

So much for Conti GP4 Seasons.
They cut up like shit, was alarmed to see how many cut it got when a customer came back with a puncture after a couple weeks.
Perhaps I need to reduce the tyre pressures? What is the optimum psi for a 23c in winter?
25c, if you're 65kg, you can easily drop the rear to 80psi and front to 70psi (or less), no point in going for 23mm at all, unless you want to run mudguard.

I dont know I feel pretty comfortable on 23's. I changed my road bike to 25's and just havent felt very comfortable on them. Perhaps its the tyres I used; Bontrager Hardshells?
I patched the cut up from the inside using a puncture repair patch and reduced the pressure to 80. I'll see how it holds up for now.

Fast rollin gumwall clinchers.
Does anyone know where I can find a good deal on Vittoria Corsa Open Evo SC in 25c ? I'd like to try and compare with my current Veloflex Master 25c (has anyone had experience with both?) -

Masters are utterly brilliant, why bother with anything else? Before I get shot, I presume they're for Summer use and you don't expect them to last a lifetime?
-
• #469
Yes, although down here in Marseilles we can assume summer is pretty much all year. And I am very pleased with my Master 25.

Christofk, we have Summer here as well, it'll be on August 5 this year! On lovely French roads in perfect weather I would only ever use Masters. Bastard!
