Ah, yes. Well. I'm not entirely surprised you would say that, the first time I met you you wouldn't stop drunkenly stroking my arm. Really freaked me out as you look about 12.

FWIW I was under the impression that you could "top up" your cycle to work, and that it was as simple as using the voucher for the "first" £1,000, and then some other method of payment for the rest.
That way your company does not need a company credit licence, and you still get the £7,000 crabon bling machine you wanted.

I'm wondering if the voucher paid for the frame, wheels and some bits. Then he paid cash for the rest. Or something similar.
Is there anything that says the bike has to be complete? It's a technicality I know, but...

Let it lie, the guy is just building a kitchen and needs the cash back. He was clearly mis-sold and mis-informed during the sale, but I've no doubt he paid a reasonable-ish price for all of the parts as outlined by Fox. It's just a mis-matched bike and they've not been straight up on what they were selling and what he was getting.
But a troll he is not, and what he thought was a quick sale has turned into a nightmare as he's not only discovered that it's not what he thought, but he feels a little hounded on here.
Put yourself in his shoes, wouldn't be a nice moment to discover what you thought was a great track bike isn't quite so.
I think he should split it and sell it like that. He'll get the most money back as the components are nice. But if he's got a lot on, splitting it is just hassle

Sure, they may have inflated prices, but f**k, how much do petrol stations charge for an egg and cress sandwich?
Roughly £1. What's your point?

I'd like to see the receipt. If it exists, BLB need a public ripping and immediate inclusion in the bad traders thread. Thats right... The BAD TRADERS THREAD! That'll fucking show em.

Some spectacular overcharging there, only a total mug would pay some of those prices, yet the OP claims to have been riding for 16 years. How do you stay that stupid for that long? Having said that, if that was a genuine yellow SLR, I wish I'd known about it before paying for postage from the USA for the one I just put on my Hirame.

Wow. Is it real? Could something like that have been chopped? Saying that, a lot of it isn't that outrageous.

This was what I thought, I had a look but it's too lo res to tell. The bold text looks a bit shady.
I'm not sure what his ulterior motive could be though, they'd be better ways to feck up BLB. He seems genuine and I feel sorry for the bloke.
Fell much better knowing that I have over ten grand worth of bikes in my kitchen.
According to BLB.
