Evans are offering a whopping 10% off all women's clothing this weekend, using code "10offmum". Offer ends the 18th.

Thanks Andy.
Is that instead of or as well as the LCC discount?

who has teh swrve womens stuff, and is it just the shorts? I can't see anything on swrve.co.uk but found these on alwaysridings.
also, can anyone recommend a good cycling bra - there seems to be a bit of a lack of non-wired, non-compression, no annoying fastenings at the back or shoulders, straps long/stretchy enough to move arms forward, stuffs.
this one might be okay http://www.sheactive.co.uk/catalogue/21457-0036/nike-indy-racerback-bra-black.html
this Castelli one looks the shit, but £63 for a bra? >>>>>>>

I've got that Nike one, it's comfy. Use it for running.

huh, cool. poss too much support if you use it for running, but might just order it anyway.

okay they arrived (I got that one and the similar strappier one with adjustable straps) and seem quite nice - do they stretch out at all? or do they come up slightly small...
before I send them back is anyone interested in a medium/12:
black in this, pink in the strappy? -

It seems pretty stretchy in the way that lycra is... I dunno. I haven't noticed it get stretchier through its lifecycle, if that helps.

I have the swrve softshells and I love 'em! They don't make the cotton ones in ladies sizes anymore. : ( I'm really, really, really sad about that. They are my go-to cycling pants.

black in this, pink in the strappy?Hi hoefla. I have both of them but prefer the one with the thicker straps. The rubber at the bottom is quite strong and won't stretch with use.

cheers. send 'em back for a swop I guess.

Thoughts please? I took the tube today. It was awful. Need something waterproof, not into the whole high-viz gimpsuit look myself. I've been looking on the high street but can't find anything sensible (though if you know of anything for tall girls, let me know!)

Purple Mist
I quite like Water Off A Duck's Back coats but they're not for me and would look odd if you're not on a sit-up-and-beg, IMHO.
Today I wore my Rapha Rain Jacket - http://www.rapha.cc/womens-rain-jacket - which I only pull out when it's properly pouring. You can see the water bouncing off it.

anyone trying to look good while cycling in the pissing rain is setting themselves up for misery and disappointment. Do the right thing in some clownsize waterproof trousers and penguin overshoes and let the smug satisfaction of winning at weather flow.
Did that sentence even make sense? I don't know what is wrong with me. I think I have water on the brain or something. My hat's not entirely waterproof. But it is furry.

army surplus stores have goretex NATO trousers for £20
-
• #471
Halfords/LIDL/wherever do them for about 8 quid. They're just as waterproof and no more sweaty, and you don't have to deal with the inevitably slightly embarrassing experience of going into an army surplus store as a GIRL.

It was a little shambolic, to be quite honest. :)

Oliver!
You're supposed to say: "It's quite alright tricitybendix, we understood perfectly what you meant."
-
• #474
If I'm going to look like a twat, I'm doing it in NATO issue camo, done! Can I get a matching blue peacekeeper lid? Could be fun with AL etc. What are these penguin overshoes you talk of and do they fit over dr martens?

Bought some padded 3/4's from LIDL today and ALDI have gloves, jerseys, etc in again on Thursday!
How did it go Ada?
