• Right then I think I have been awake long enough now(40 something hours).
Going to close the laptop before I fall asleep and start to drool on the keyboard.
Nice to meet you Ian and Digger and all the rest of you. Good night..

  • That was great ride, hats' off to Southwark Cyclist for organising it!

I was having such a good time that instead of going home (which is ten mins away from Primrose Hill) I decided to cycle back with everyone and have breakfast in Southwark!

    Same again next year?

  • Glad you all had a good time! Sorry to have missed it, but I know I made the right decision...was SO much more on form at work yesterday and just spotting mistakes I made on monday today...would not have been a good look to sleep through another day!

    Next time gadget!

  • ... still haven't actually got to bed yet!*

OK, so I slept for 10 hours last night on the sofa in front of the telly

  • anything similar planned for this year? can't find much on the Greenwich nor Southwark cyclist's sites.

  • ilast years' ride was announced early may, so hopefully soon

We've not decided whether or not to lead it this year...midweek MSMs are always a bit problematic.

  • I wanted to do this last year but bailed, hopefully can do this year.

Please do! Last year was so much fun - especially the fry-up at the end. If you could organise a more exciting dawn, then it would be perfect.

  • Oh OK then. Will have a word with God about the weather :)

  • did i read somewhere that Brasil are bringing a statue of christ the redeemer as a gift for the olympic games and plonking it on top of primrose hill..

  • If there isn't an official/Southwark led ride this year, how about an LFGSS one instead?

  • I can confirm we will be doing this :) xx

  • Yay!

  • I can confirm we will be doing this :) xx

It has to be done \0/

  • ^^^ @missmouse YAY! - in.

i think it's the madness of it that i like most of all, that and the look on the faces of the new age hippys as primrose hill was besieged by 50 cyclists

  • forgot to ask, what's the date?

    ... only joking

  • Yay ^^^^^^^^

Though really this ride doesn't need a leader, we all know the way and it's short.

definitely... just publicise wheres open to meet for breakfast after…

  • Breakfast last year was at 6am at Terry’s Café, 158 Great Suffolk Street, SE1.

    Other recommendations welcome.

  • Hurray! I loved it last year - despite the rain (and the slightly pathetic dawn chorus).

Terry's was great - would be brilliant if you could persuade them to open early again.

  • I'm sure that can be arranged ;)

  • Last year was so much fun, I'll defo be up for this again!
