can you actually buy it now? Someone from Evans trying to get a confirmed date for me with the head office, but it doesn't sound promising as they keep changing the due date. And isn't the complete bike for 500? 450 for the standard langster (the black one).

ExTra, a mate got his today (Red, steel version). Purchased from Cycle Surgery. There are some about. Call or visit one of the CS shops, they may check their system for stock if you ask nice?

Some guys from CS are mates ish since I got my London Langster from them a couple of years ago. A trip to CS tomorrow it is! Thanks. What's ur friend's size? Coz I need a 52 or possibly a 49. They are not the "standard" size they would import... I know I am short, but hey, I am a woman, what do you expect?

I wish On One had taken some advice on the graphics for the Poacher... They really shoulda gone the whole hog with the old-skool branding... Missed opportunity IMHO, nice little frame... Don't forget the forks are extra...

Not just the Poacher but the Pompino as well, the new graphic on those just look cheap and tatty.

i imagine it is available frameset only as it is supposedly NJS certified? i think they'd be pretty stupid to not release a cheap NJS frame. or is that some other steel langster that cost a bomb?
the lincolnshire poacher has some really nice lugwork and luglining

ExTra, he got a 56, but he said they had a 49 in there also. Ill try and find out which shop he went to.

And Lauren...
My favourite. And still alive (always a bonus, unless one professes to come from Murkeyside).

They called it Langster. But it looks completely different and it's made from a different material. wtf.
I like the horizontal top tube though, i think its going to sell well. They should have lugged it though for proper old school-ness. And the chain guard is ghey.

Thank you JAMIE. You might laugh, but my London Langster is a 56... don't know what I was thinking. But with this steel one, no way I could handle anything bigger than a 54. Totally different frames...

Yup, she's one hell of a woman...
I've reached a point in my life where it's the little things that matter... I was always a rebel and probably could have got much farther had I changed my attitude. But when you think about it, I got pretty far without changing attitudes. I'm happier with that.
Aw, Veronica... You had it sussed, darlin'...

I really like the steel Langster. I don't love the fact thats it's a specialized (irrational brand hatred) but looks good and I'm sure it'l' ride well. Be better than my peugeot beater anyway.

I saw that steel Langster in Putney cycle yesterday, interesting I thought, I was told it was a bit heavy (Reynolds Cro-Mo 520 - I think it is 520, not 100/100 sure).
The chromes are a little bit cheap on the fork, it's a bit "raw", but O/A looks quite nice... I'd like to see how it looks like in large version (62cm)...
I don't know if Bianchi are still doing their chrome pista and if it is still in that price range, but if it is the case, the Bianchi still wins I feel...Szia

It's funny, the langster is the big specialized awaited push, but I think the Globe Roll is a better frame.
On one have their Lincolnshire Poacher for £250.00
http://www.on-one-shop.co.uk/acatalog/The_Lincolnshire_Poacher.html
For some brand new classic lugged action.
