does the steel langster have a flip/flop hub???
been looking through the spec and it appears to just be fixed
is this an easy thing to change?? forgive the newbie question, but you know, i'm a newbie....

Says fixed/fw - most PROBABLY flip-flip rather than choice of either.
Dead easy to change if not ... you'll need a chainwhip and a lockring spanner

if you're talking about this, sorry no frame and fork option;
if you're talking about the chrome lugged celeste frame with straight fork, don't think we'll get it, and it's likely to cost near a grand.

Straight forks sans lugs would look better I reckon

Cheers Ed. I'm looking for a aesthetically nice, cheap modern frame to butcher. Couldn't do it to an older frame with history, whereas a mass produced 'in taiwan' frame allows all the guilt free butchering one can throw at it.

That Langster looks alright.
-
• #368
You are going to have a hard time getting an otp bike as just a frameset.
-
• #369
It looks nice, but why does this "pista" have a drilled bridge?
-
• #370
Slopped fork crowns are teh secks.
-
• #371

That depends on whether it is sold as a frameset seperately, as some bikes/frames are. Not many I would agree though.
Would probably come in at around £300 which would put most off as the whole bike is not much more.. -
