That sounds good. I did search on the USA Today page, but got a lot of stuff about Obama and race ...

The dude from maseeu (or however you bloody spell it) didn't install the BB with the right number of spacers. Or any grease. Took two burly yanks half an hour to take the crank off. But, we are now all set to go tomorrow, plus or minus ten percent. I need to re-index a front mech, but that shouldn't take too long.

2 spare BB's**
copper grease...The BB is ceramic, and I would really not like to have to mess with it at all. Ever.

Hi all from Missouri. Just left Kansas and 45 degree weather behind, we are in second to the last place.
I'm hot and tired, I've been sleeping about 3 hours a day and navigating. We've had one accident and lost a £1000 carbon front wheel, but at least we are still rolling. I'll post photos ina week! -

There is a four man team in the 75+ age category and they finished with an average speed of 14.61 mph.
Now that is something to aspire to. Talk about cycling heros!!

We finished in 8 days and 46 minutes, not record breaking but at least we finished. I accidently left my photo card in NYC, so no photos for now.
All in all it was an interesting experience, kinda like a reality tv show involving lots of sleep deprivation.
I don't think I would do it again, tbh, but it was pretty great to watch all of these endurance riders power up the rockies and through monument valley. -

Well done Nhatt. Please post a full report when you are rested. I need more information. I am aiming to do the RAAM in 2032 by which time I may have lost some weight and will be 75.....
