Just knowing you're out there reading makes me feel better and restores my faith in this still being a cycling forum. :]

Less than 7O miles to go for Jay, then he should officially have the divide record back again! :]

It's got to feel pretty amazing having only 7O miles to go having already ridden almost 27OO miles! :]

I can't imaging how he feel with having 70 miles left, must've felt like age away.

I've been enjoying your updates BRP, its an incredible feat. What do you thinks next for him? Smash Vin Cox's round the world record?
70 miles seems like so little for him left after 2700miles which really makes it sink in for me. Having made a trial run at the SDW double where I cycled as far as I could in one day, bivied then cycled back the next, that 70 miles back seemed like the longest cycle ever!

NEW RECORD! 17 DAYS 9 HOURS 1 MINUTE!
What an incredible achievement after breaking the Iditabike record a few months ago and his completely unsupported RAAM just a few weeks ago!
Truly inspirational! -

17 days, man, 2,770 miles in 17 days, that's like over 160 miles a day off road.
He got to do the round the world record, I truly believed he's capable of it.

Although for the amount of people interested in Jay's amazing achievements this year I might as well have just PMed them!
I think most people on here actually see grandslam in a day as a greater achievement! :]
