Are you a stalker?

Kinesis, have a look at the on-one pompino instead, they're cheap and weight similar to the Visp (comparing to the Visp 2178g claim).
Coming from an MTB background (right?), I think you'll find the pompino well suited for your need, you can fit cyclocross tyres on it and get off the beaten path.

unless you want a track frame. Carbon forks have made a load of difference to mine, shaved loads of weight off and made it handle better.

Bit off subject but has anyone been charged tax getting one of these into the uk? Really inyerested in building one up!
-
• #88
I didn't
-
• #89
there are so many people using this frame in my country, Indonesia
-
• #90
Had one, they are cheap and sturdy. A little heavy but what do you expect for around 150e. Good beater potential.

search for "track frame" on ebay. There's loads.
-
• #92
cheers buddy! I realised that searching visp wasn't working and tried that. My finger is hovering over the BIN button now. Did you buy the one with the seat post? What were the components like that came with it?
-
• #93
yeah came with a seatpost. Looked like a Thomson nock-off. Really light too. Headset wasn't great, but not too bad. No instructions on how to install it though so I had to guess.
-
• #94
cheers man, I've clicked the button. It'll do for a temporary bike anyhow....
-
• #95
how long did it take yours to arrive?
-
• #96
a couple of weeks I think.

• #97
I can't seem to find the answer anywhere, dose any one know the largest tyres that would fit in a visp frame?
-
• #98
Probably 25 front and I got a 28 in the back
-
• #99
damn, hoping to not hear that
-
• #100
You want larger than 28?
what aluminium is your edwards made of? It's probably 7005 or something, which is much better than the visps' 6061
