A Finn has built the raunchiest VISP I have seen:

Hey guys,
I was looking for a decent frame the other day and I tripped over those cheap ones posted from China.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/track-fixed-gear-frame-set-700CX48-50-52-54-56-58CM-/280501764789?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item414f3542b5To be honest I'm not very experienced, maybe you could tell me what to think of them.
Sorry if this belongs in the ebay thread. Thanks in advance,
Tirpitz

They are very good framesets.
I have had mine for about 3months now and i love it, good eye catching frames whilst also being very strong and reliable.. i've had no problems! -
• #120
had one of those, they are cheap and ok but you could save another 100 and buy a nelson or something 2nd hand.
-
• #121
Yeah, but the frames are £86. So £100 more is much more than double the price for a second hand frame.
These are fantastic value for money, I've been riding one for nearly half a year and clocking many miles on it and have nothing to complain about.

when I bought mine (living in finland) I had to pay for about 50e for the shipping and taxes on the top of that.
Depends on what you want. I've had a visp and a nelson. Sold the visp after few weeks and the nelson ive been riding for 2 years now. 200e vs 300e. It is just one more day of 9 to 5 to do. Nelson beats visp in every way by a lot in my opinion. And on the top of that, guys at cyclingbasket are really nice compared to anonymous ebay dude. I'll rather give my euros to them.

I thought the production of Nelsons has stopped?
And yes: they are nicer frames, but I do like VISPs as well. (Never owned one, mind. Bought a road frame from the same seller. It is nothing special, but it works.)

could maybe, just maybe do 32 but not going to buy the tyre to check
