That's the first time I've been interested in getting one. Group buy?
Does one have to drill ones helmet?

Yep, 4 bolts in the helmet.

'Inliners' hockey stuff is cheap n cheerful, but on the small side.
They have leg protection and gloves for cheap.Fruitbooters ftw.

That's the gloves I have and they are awesome. Don't get in the way at all, not worn any holes through them at all in 8+ months, and cheap as chips!

just screwed my cricket face guard in. Can't really tell how much i like it yet, not keen on the looking through the bars 'downwards' as in when the ball is under you. moved the guard a little lower so it covers my chin and gives me enough view, then I hit myself in the face with my mallet to reconstruct the ideal conditions. direct hit with the business end into my eye. Ow i have a 'pokey eye' now. Lets hope deflections rather than direct hits from 6 inches will always be the order of the day.

You hit yourself in the eye? I think your helmet's on too tight.
-
• #547
yes.
No.

You do get used to this pretty quickly but there are still the odd occasions where I loose sight of the ball, mainly on darker courts.

loverly. how long is recovery?
That looks fun ^.
I've been trying to find an old school bmx mask like I had in the 80's. I can't even find a picture of one which is strange as they were awesome.
Meanwhile, these could work?
