On a related but disgusting note: I got a wart at the site of a polo whack on my knuckle - almost certainly from broken skin + sharing welding gloves at college.

Saw two pairs of these gloves BNIPacket in my local charity shop.
Fearnley Magnum FX3 Batting gloves.
Left thumbs are unpadded.
Both are labelled as mens (roughly size 9 as they're too tight for me.)
3 quid per pair if anyone wants me to get them?

edit - they still had the old shop tags on and were originally 15.99 then reduced to a fiver.

My lacrosse gloves arrived yesterday. Proper testing tonight but I liked wearing them around the house and doing normal tasks whilst looking like a machine.

How is it with turning your head?

Seems fine, yet to try it on the bike but the guard is high enough not to catch my shoulders.

Only worry is visibility, might take a bit to get used too.

Anyone concidered a Hurling helmet?
I have played (albit a very tame game) and i would think that the same considerations would apply for polo ie: visibility etc.
