  • You'll be needing this mate

With a beard, that'd make a decent instant hipster kit

  • ....Apple pies, bike polo, radial lacing, coffee, brooks saddles, black nipples etc, etc...

    Colour co-ordinated chainring bolts.

  • lists.

  • hmm...

  • nice build letrekk!

  • Just to add a bit more spice to the welds argument:
Valdemiro (Portugal), Custom Track (Easton Alloy)

    **NO WELD MARKS **

Oh... The frame costs (custom)....500 notes less than a Mash/Cinelli.

  • Christ man, I can't believe you dropped over £2,000 for a fixed wheel bicycle.

  • throws laptop at wall

  • TBF The Pista Concept also has agriculatural welds... That's life, my frendz...

  • Seeing risers on letrekks' example is surely the equivalent of this........

    Plenty use of filler

As with the mash you cant expect Taiwanesse kids to smooth our welds. Its just one step far.

FFS, get a clue! 'weld marks', pffft. They're incomparable.

  • This is a Nicolai MTB frame:

    Great welds.

  • Since when weld is bad? it's almost as if everyone want to put lug on every single frame!

  • Shut up, Ed...

  • Isn't it time to take your bike out for a walk Joe? it does need some exercise...

  • I've done 20 miles of bike-walking today, Ed... SW2 to E14 in 40mins... Old man's pace, granted...

  • hmm...

Dear fuckin GOD!?!?!??! Why do people do it? WHYYYYY!??!

    puts head in oven

  • It's only going to get worse as people start snapping these up 2nd hand.

Err.... SP, at no point I've mention welds being a bad thing, did you see that?
If I remember^^, up there the party was about good welds/bad welds, I presented a
No Welds example (and No!! it's not body filler...), and tbh I fucking hate weld marks, good or bad, HATE IT!
You're right they're incomparable, I'd go for anything but that POS Cinelli.

As anything else around here... opinions.
Actually the Cinelli is not an opinion, its gobshite!

  • hmm...

i like that.. bit over the top for my liking. and not really a road build (seen you around bethnal green on it)

also how can you have dusty £20 mks pedals on build where your saddle cost over £200?!?!?

  • FOR CLARIFICATION.... I ride a 1980s french built track bike not some carbon dripped cinelli mash!!! ask Rosmal

Christ man, I can't believe you dropped over £2,000 for a fixed wheel bicycle.

i wouldn't spend that amount as I'm no tycoon..

    nice build letrekk!

    not my build

the guy who got it built is clearly an idiot.
i live in islington not betnal, and there's definitely no mash here where i live luckily.

Seeing risers on letrekks' example is surely the equivalent of this........

damn right...the double HED 3s and carbon galore does make it look nahstee

Dear fuckin GOD!?!?!??! Why do people do it? WHYYYYY!??!

Ask the person who bought the bike from 14co.

  • FFS leave the apple pies out of this Graham.

This thread is a yawn fest now. Jog on

Aero frames look shit set up for street IMO. Take the latest steel 14 Co effort.
