She wasn't shy... at Newton Abbot church tower fund raiser, she slipped behind the white elephant stall with church warden and Tenor Bell ringer and got "air tight" so to speak

Man has car, I have bike. Bike weighs less than car (just, with an aerospoke). Fight involving car = death.
I once broke a computer monitor by punching it by getting angry at counter strike. I regretted doing this because I lost a lot of pocket money to replace the monitor, which was for my parent's computer.
I can therefore extrapolate that a car driver would get angry at me on a bike, punch me with his car, and then have to save up all of his pocket money to buy my parents a new son.
Therefore I literally steer clear of cars. My mum survived coming off of her bike and headbutting a rangerover, although not without some big ass scars and skin grafts. And the rangerover was trying to avoid her. I care too much about my parents' sanity to put myself at any greater risk than I already am by living in London.
Mind you I don't ride a bike wearing a bear suit with a Hed 3 with razorblades taped to the spokes. Yes tynan, I've seen them.

This is slave mentality, OK bad shit happens to me, but if I speak up it might even be worse, my master might give me a good beating, so keep your head down, keep quiet, we don't want any trouble.
No, it's not the same at all. I firmly believe it is right to speak up, it is right to take plates and report people who drive badly. If you want to remonstrate with them in person that is also fine - as long as it does not cause further danger.
We are not talking about some pious argument. We ARE talking about me or you on a bike and some asshole who drives badly, sharing the same road. Personally I would not want to do anything to make him/her drive any worse and/or maybe even attack me, but if you are happy to risk it then do.

Often, when I ride my bike, I ride it to work where I get into a van and roll around the streets of London for eight hours. Now I like to think that I am a particularly dilligent driver, particularly in regard to cyclists, certainly more so than most.
My concentration sometimes lapses, this is because I am a human. Sometimes I piss off a rider, and that pisses me off, but more importantly slaps me round the face. Sometimes that rider will then call me a wanker. I understand his point of view but at that very moment all I want to do is smash his face in. It's kind of a reflex response to being humiliated in a manner which one cannot respond to.
These days I don't gesticulate at drivers when I'm riding. They're probably just like me.

Most beautiful day of my life, finally I was getting to marry some man I had never met before and enter a wonderful world of subjugation and summary justice.
I tell you, that Christmas when he found out I 'had a set' really put the cat amongst the pigeons.

Yes, just after little Tony was born, it was surprising he had not twigged earlier.
Me too !
