• Oh, Ed. Wasn't it you just moaning about accidentally buying a brown headset instead of a black one?

Yep.

and I installed it because in the end it's just a headset, ironically enough it actually suited the bike;

I was saying that the saddle should be the *only* thing on the bicycle that you should not worry about it's appearance, just it's comfort.

• bollocks

i have to agree with squabble, saddle is all about comfort not appearance

darling Alex, have i not told you this already?

indeed you have (repeatedly) but you can't ignore aesthetics (you of all people).

• Not the place for such thing NDC.

• Alex - For when aesthetics and comfort are combined...

• FFS! Why leave the dust caps on?

• I would have said perfectly on topic...

you really are an utter nob-jockey, i am assuming that is your bike

• NDC, reported.

The women have their own section of the forum, so those who feel a bit intimated by some of the blokes on the forum can feel a little bit at ease here and were able to ask question that they otherwise don't feel comfortable asking.

The last thing they want to do is to feel a bit intimated by a bloke making crass sexual remark about women in cycling as if they were an object to titillated over.

• Bontrager Inform WSD. Or something the same that won't wear out after 6 months :(

NDC go back to your cave.

• That's fine by me (personally speaking). Don't see any reason women should have to be the only ones pulling people up for acting like cavemen with no manners. This is our bit of the forum, respect that or go start your own thread about bits of the male anatomy that you seem to be so interested in.

• I see....so your spokesman for female cyclists....interesting.

No, I'm just trying to be a rational human being, of which you're not.

Since when it's procedure for women to only stand up for themselves in the event of being belittled?

• That's an impressive and articulate argument.

• Of course you're not here to argue, just to titillated over women who is looking for a decent saddle.

• The spelling in this thread is abysmal. Sort it out guys.

I have an SLK I can lend out too, though I need it on weekends. Totally happy to loan it out for a week though, s'long as I can pick it up on a Friday. It is completely filthy though; I think I am too scruffy for white saddles/bar tape.

thank you Ed!

• Edscoble - Sexism Warrior

• I typed 'sexism warrior' and this bloke came up first for some reason;

• NDC got banned, and a good decision too.

• Only just seen this, good.

I'm just about to delete his posts..

Ed - I'm sure you post more here than any of the girls, so in a way you're an honorary lady.
But thank you.

Alex I also have Selle Gel Flow that can be borrowed - Poots has first borrowing dibs on it though

• Should you, me and the saddle ever be in the same place :faceplonk:

• Alex - For when aesthetics and comfort are combined...

me like it

• even the pretty flowers that you were complaining about?

wont see those if my arse is on it will i?

it's more to do with the realisation that women do still get shit, I though they didn't nowadays, but that's mainly because I'm already a bloke, I never experienced those thing, and thus didn't understand it, like simple crass sexual remark that doesn't seemed bad to be because I happen to be a bloke and don't understood why it's bad.

So fuck this shit, I want to understand, I don't want to live in a world where the sexes are treated differently as cliched as that sounded, it's fucking pathetic.

• ed just wants an excuse to be allowed into the ladies lavatories.
