  • Itunes grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrkiiiiilllllpuppies

  • Anyone had trouble with ios6 and their calendar being mangled? Mrs Pun upgraded hers and now it's pretty much all borked

  • iPad mini to be presented on 23 October

  • Does anyone know of a good place to get my iPhone repaired. A bottle of water leaked in my bag. I've left it too dry for a few days but the camera and the wifi no longer function.

  • Anyone know how much I can expect for a good condition (one tiny scuff on the aluminium) iphone 4? 32gb Unlocked etc.

Almost ready to bow out of apple's eco system I believe.

  • I sold mine for £250 the other day...

  • Good craic.

Just need to find another £250 for a lumia 920 :D

  • Ha. I was tempted but got an iPhone 5 instead... it is a lovely phone.

  • Is it much of an upgrade though?

  • From the 4 to the 5; absolutely.

    From the 4s? Probably not.

  • I've been told by several people now that the 5 isn't worth the extra cash, you're better off just getting a 4S. One of these peeps is a manager at Apple, and they said they were disappointed that all you are getting is a slightly longer phone.

  • Just dropped my iphone3 15ft off a ladder onto concrete, not a mark on it. It's been soaked, full of dust and through all sorts of other shit without a case
If I ever kill this one I'm gonna get another. Proper nails.

    Nah... I had a 4 and the missus has a 4S.

The 5 is noticeably lighter, thiner and higher quality. It's also twice as fast as the 4S (about 4x faster than the 4).

I had to use her 4S yesterday and it was an awful experience in comparison, IMO.

conversely I know someone who snapped theirs by sitting down with it in their pocket.

admittedly mine's fallen out of my pocket whilst riding along tooley street, a man walking his dog found it in the middle of the road and i got it back and the only damage was a crack in the cheap plastic case. think it might be down to luck how they hold up tbh.

  • Fuuuu.
Everytime I buy a mac they bring out a new and better one.
    Cnuts.

    That's all.

  • Always check this page before buying anything from Apple: http://buyersguide.macrumors.com/

  • Bought a day before they announced. This also happened with the MacBook Pro.

    What's their return policy?

    Still fuuuuu.

  • Like I said, always check that page. It will show upcoming Apple events and rumours for all products. If the little circle is red next to the product, DO NOT BUY IT! :)

As for their return policy, i'm pretty sure you have 14 days. Some stores will give you longer straight after a product launch because they feel sorry for you.

  • Not available until December.
Just wondering if I should take it back and wait a month or two.
    I have a top spec'd iMac atm.

  • For some items they exchange with the new model if the older one has been bought less than one month before (but you can have to negociate)

  • Might as well wait, newer model will last slightly longer than the one you have, I'd says the return will be worth it.

Happen to me, return it, and brought new one.

Yup, i would definitely return. The iMac isn't just a spec bump (like the Mac Mini and the new iPad) but a completely new design. Your's will suffer a signifficant drop in value after December if you don't return it.

  • Le sigh.
I've made an online appoint for Apple support to call me.
It's going to be a mega pain not having it for a few months so I'm still not sure.
I need this time to look for work and develop my skillz.
