Anyone who uses Cubase, Ableton, Logic should get Proremote. I've got it on the iPhone and it's pretty good but on an iPad it's really amazing. It's a bit pricey but if you have a jailbreak then there are ways...

yes but can you take your second monitor out? can you select images using touch screen? can you scroll through images on the ipad, select one and see it on the screen? etc....
