  • ^^often spin offs are just cashing in on previous success, but in this case I think Jonah is easily as goos as the original show.

  • whar game of rings whar?

  • easily as goos. I'm going to leave that.

  • I've just bought The Wire box set and I'm watching the whole thing again. It's so good.

  • Never heard of it...

  • Blah..sheep...androids...blah...lols

  • i fail to see how a tv show about wiring can warrant an entire box set.

  • i miss mrak.

  • He's not missing you.

  • give it time.

  • Fair point, he did just say he wished he could make it down to Le Reej tonight...

  • Just watched this and while it comes across mostly anti smoking I get that weird feeling it's given a huge amount of air time to discussing how "the industry is changing" and "want's to be trusted again". Buy yeah it mentions how tabacco lobbying got into places it shouldn't and advertising in ways it shouldn't but it isn't in the bbc honest...

  • anyone else watching that Street Fighter web series? it's surprisingly above average for something produced for broadcast on youfloob. worth noting that it doesn't feature any actual streets.

    i dont even street fighter!

  • Just finished Prey and Happy Valley

I haven't seen good cheap channel TV for a long time.

I think this year's TV drama has been the best in a good few years.

I enjoyed Happy Valley, or rather, found it compelling and well cast. Bit gruesome. Nice seeing a strong female lead.

  • Anyone know of a free/cheap tv aerial inspection service in North London?

my TV is fine, as is the aerial cable, so I fear the damage is between the wall socket and the sky.

I have no problem with some channels, but their HD equivalents (i.e. BBC HD and ITV HD) and some others are totally unwatchable.

  • I'm watching True Detective and enjoying it. But did anyone else find they needed to watch it with the subtitles on?

  • ^ Utopia? I didn't see it, was it good?

  • First episode was a really good background filler, covering the start of the organisation / program in the 70s.

The second episode was more of a "round up the gang" episode with all the characters getting back together.

Both were very good and left plenty unanswered.

  • Is the first season worth a watch, then? Been re-watching West Wing when I've got the time, but could fit something else in perhaps.
