  • Limmy is making some wonderful youtube videos. Check out his Guide to the Clyde

  • ^ agreed, about the best thing on TV when he is on

  • Really enjoying Hannibal S2... although it makes me hungry watching it.

  • It's good ennit?

  • Bit late to this party but True Detective was superb.

  • Anyone watching Jonah From Tonga? Genius.

  • I've been recommended it but the other stuff they did was so obvious and crass it never held my attention above a few cheap laughs. I know that's what I should like but I didn't. Might give it an episode.

  • I was on pointless yesterday (filming, not broadcast)

  • Chris Lilley creeps me out.

  • I was on pointless yesterday (filming, not broadcast)

Was it fun? The presenters come across as pretty nice chaps.

    How far did you get?

  • Anything new worth watching(downloading) at the mo? The only thing I bother to DL at the moment is Californication, but it's the last ever season and getting very crap.

I was in the audience. Oral charity?

  • Chris Lilley creeps me out.

Me too. His stuff is brilliantly observed, it's like he knows the exact thing you have seen in real life that made you cringe. When snotter says Jonah is obvious, I see what he means, but I think it's better than the inbetweeners, which really was just a series of adolescent cliches and catchphrases (which I enjoyed very much too).

  • Ab Fab is on BBC 2 now. Bit of scheduling randomness. Jennifer Saunders looks so young!

Yeah. That's the talent in what he's doing. I think the one-dimensional aspect is what's starting to creep me out. I just don't like watching a strange man spend his career hanging out and acting like a child with child actors. I'm not making insinuations or anything like that - it's just weird for me to watch. It feels like he's reliving his childhood or something. It's the type of thing I imagine some people pay to do.

  • I was in the audience. Oral charity?

is that like a pity nosh?

  • ^^ I'm surprised you find it one-dimensional. The character of Jonah, and of his very young freind, are I think very nuanced, both funny and sad. It's brilliantly acted. I'm not sure he's reliving his own childhood, sure there are universal traits among young boys that he has his own experiance of, and alot of fiction begins with personal experience, but the whole race issue I doubt is something he experienced in the same way, being from a white middle class background.

  • I'm talking about him the actor. This is the 4th (?) show he's now done the kid thing.

  • I was in the audience. Oral charity?

Ha! Yes!!! Lots of fun, and I thought I'd really screwed up when he asked which countries the charity works in.

  • Was it fun? The presenters come across as pretty nice chaps.

I had a great time. We did well...

  • watched first episode of penny dreadful last night, interesting premise for a horror based drama, might go either way though. looking forward to second episode.

Stays good, get some back story in the later episodes. Could be guilty of setting too may story lines though. Or leaving it open for lots of episodes.

  • Believe looks like its going to be OK. Not great, but worth a watch if US TV nonsense is your thing.

Been pulled, not even finishing the season - TV.com rumour.

But he also played Mr G! We Can Be Heroes and Summer Heights High are the two best things he did... Angry Boys, Jonah and Ja'mie are all spin-offs...

  • quite enjoyed dusk til dawn tv series on netflix as well. bit slow to get going much like the film and is as equally ridiculous as the film is when it comes to the horror part but overall not a bad watch.
