  • Banshee S01E08: Fight scene, Ana/Carrie v. Olek, featuring 'the piece of wood'.
You won't see anything like that in The A-team.

  • Yes, him off Dark Place

  • Off the IT crowd?

  • You're thinking of Yul Brynner in Blade Runner.

  • The voice of Cathedral City Cheddar, Moneysupermarket and The Natural Confectionery Company.

  • No, it's deffo Matt Berry.

Who is this Paxman wannabe bald fuck? What the fuck is this shit about? Who the fuck interviews Nigel Farage as a credible person to express thoughts on the BBC? Why the fuck has this country feels more and more right wing the more I try to ignore? Thank fuck I dont own a TV and pay BBC's salaries. Motherfuckers. Immigration is fact of life for first world; get over it; get used to it or get fucked.

Nick Robinson. A pretty good (albeit conservative) BBC political commentator who has been around for a long time. Given the BBC's leftist tendencies and usually positive stance on immigration I don't really see anything wrong with reporting on what is a live political issue. For all its faults I think we are very luckily to have the BBC and I have always been happy to pay my Licence Fee.

There's nothing wrong with getting angry about political parties raising the issue to score political points in the (vain) hope that it will win them votes in the run up to the election. But getting angry about the BBC reporting on the topic is misdirected. Also I think you are missing the point on the immigration debate, no credible person proposes that you have zero immigration (not even Farage), the question is how you manage it as a policy. Do you only allow people you “need”, do you prioritise speaking English, do you believe that free movement of people is a right, do you believe that there should be firm caps on how long people can stay, entitlements to benefit, etc?

Personally, I don’t think shutting down debate is ever a good thing. According to that programme the majority of the population think 1/3 of the UK are immigrants vs the reality of c.13%. Surely you are better off opening debate and informing people of the true facts and countering arguments to get them on board rather than calling them stupid and/or prejudice... which seems to be the usual route.

    in what?

  • No, it's deffo Matt Berry.

A common mistake. That's Burt Lancaster off The Dambusters, his love scene with Renee Zellwegger was incredibly moving:"You had me at blood and semen". Always makes me cry.

  • ^^It's a typo, he meant Robocop.

  • I've heard of Robocop.....

  • Robertcop

  • Fuck off back to where you came from. In other news, Archer is back!

  • [ Given the BBC's leftist tendencies and usually positive stance on immigration I

Robinson is a Tory, Stephanie Flanders went from being Economics editor to working for the far-left thinktank JP Morgan and her replacement Robert Peston is an ex political editor of Marxist daily the Financial Times. Admittedly Andrew Marr worked for the radical Independent and stated the BBC has a "cultural liberal bias". But liberals are not lefties. Ed Milliband is not a leftie. The notion of what is left wing has shifted so far to the centre that in your life time, if not mine, Nick Griffin will be seen as the new Tony Benn.
