  • Hmmm? Why no embed?

  • great things going on here... http://toolsforasimplelife.blogspot.co.uk/

  • I've seen that wobbling its way down the road. Didn't look like much fun to ride especially with the rear swaying all over the place. What's the verdict so far Bill?

    Er,Bill?

  • Er,Bill?

    John's frightened of it.

  • After an annoying crank failiure, and initial compatibility issues with my 6 year old son. The Mundo is performing brilliantly.

I have admittedly the heaviest, and therefore heavily stable wheels on the planet. But I was still blown away by my ability to ride home, partialy loaded (the bike not me), and carrying my eldest son, through post footy match foot traffic. Literally rolling along, cliped in, at the same pace as the walkers. Trouble is I want more bags now. This thing just make you want to transport stuff. Love it!

  • Looks ace. Has your 6yo got annoyed that his handle bars don't actually steer the thing?

Ha. No, he does have a habit of throwing himself from side to side though. Not really a problem when you know whats happening. But at first I thought it was the rear hub.

The big brake discs and wide range of gears via the IGH/IGC (Internally geared crankset). Make it great for cruising around the local area in comfort and safety (tis v.hilly). I'm only riding slowly, granted. But the ease of riding, even loaded, is still surprising.

  • ^ Your projects might take an age to finish ( look whose talking ), but they never disappoint. That looks great!

Please tell me that you haven't modified your child to fit the bike :-/

  • John's frightened of it.

Why would he be?It, "rides just like a BMX"!!!?

  • Could work if you don't have a left knee.

  • What do you mean? there's ample room for your knees if you mean the top tube mount.

    Main concern would be cornering.

  • Thanks,Ed.

  • Some of you may remember I was going to make a short production of 20inch cargo bikes, well that's on hold at the moment, besides, a london project already is underway that is similar: http://donkybike.com/about-donky-bike/
I mean, that looks horrid and cheap, so when that fails, I'll pick mine up, maybe. I'm currently staying in France so it won't be for a while.

  • I Chrismassed the fuck out of my Bakfiets !

  • Like Prince's limo!

  • Ha ha!

Gonna fit a stereo and blast 'Purple Rain' on my way to work!

BTW cargo afficionados I still have stock of 2012 Civia Halsted bikes.

Price looks alright until you realise pretty much every component on it is crap. Like £70 Tesco bike crap.

1 piece crank probably = us/bmx bb so limited on the upgrade possibilities too.

  • Sad, but trufax.

  • yes, very sad.
