  • Do you know where in Hackney they're based, nuknow?

  • Cool concept, but yeah some of the components are a joke.

I think if it was another £100 but included deore v brakes & levers (very good) and a chainset that doesn't look like it'll bend in half the first time you try to climb anything, (and whatever that front wheel is) replaced with something half decent then yeah it would be pretty sweet.

Or if it was £100-200 cheaper and didn't have components, just frame. My guess is that the frame is about 95% of the cost though.

  • Looks alright, but I'd be concerned about it folding in half. I guess it'll be fine so long as you don't start jumping stairs.

Shackwell Lane, right in front of the school.

  • Cheers, nuknow.

  • No not made in Hackney designed in Hackney made in Taiwan

  • Quadricycle, but hey:

    This one's for mashton:

  • I spent awhile consideirng using my Bullit to start an IKEA delivery service. Many laughed, some just awkwardly shook their heads.

  • I bought 3 of these from the dairy selling ice creams at the Olympics.
They are Bullitts, with 8-speed Alfine rear hubs and disc breaks.

  • Why did you need three?

  • Bullits are so cool, that I really want one, not that I need it or have space.

Nice. What are the boxes like?

  • really heavy...

  • Should replace with carbon fibre boxes

  • Should replace with carbon fibre boxes

I've seen people using fibre-glass boxes, but I would be a little concerned about durability - they don't take a dent very well, IIRC.

  • BTW, I'm sure that most of the cargo crew have already seen this, but I wrote a review of our experiences with the Bullitts here:

  • Thanks Bill no I had not seen it

  • If anyone's interested, Creative Couriers are looking for cargo bike riders.

    Nah..

  • Trikes re awesome in the snow, you can do powerslides!

Don't have to worry about the whole "don't lean", you can't lean!!!

  • I did the stupid lean into a corner in a housing estate a few years back on a Bullitt, realised there was a sheet of ice on the corner from a burst pipe half way into the corner, ah solution... pulled brake. Slid for about three feet. Luckily my son wasnn;t actually in it at the time.

  • If anyone wants the box off this bike, which is still in pretty good condition, please get in touch.
