She had two children, made a shit load of money for there future. Made something out of her life that she was happy with. I think she is a dick. But i think lot's of people are dicks. But then i don't hate them for it. I ignore them. Thats what's adults do. Respect the dead unless they have raped, killed or touched children in bad way.
She was very successful at doing what she did and made money more than most of us will do who have considerably more specialist skills. This causes resentment and your tasteless posts.

it's just a pity she made a success out of her limited chances as it seems to have pissed off a lot of middle class people with a good education and upbringing - who have turned her into a hate figure.

I stand by my comment in the other thread that Jade Goody is effectively the chav equivalent of Boris Johnson (the Duke of Edinburgh would be another good comparison). Both have public personas based entirely on gaffes, ignorance and casual racism.
Jade's big mistake was apparently her failure to learn Latin aphorisms.
Having said that: I thought that Will's comment in the other thread about misogyny was stretching it a bit at the time, but after all the "fat" and "ugly" that's been thrown around on here I'm revising that view.

I'm being lazy here - not obnoxious - but has anyone actually suggested yet that she deserved it (etc.)?
Much as I imagine this is a distasteful issue for some, I'd much rather be discussing this than reading the 'glossy photos of girls...' thread. So many calls to sink this thread when it's many times more stimulating to read than other stuff. Granted it's not bike-related, but it's a good discussion nonetheless.

Ok - that obvioulsy came out completely wrong. I have no hostility towards her - I think she cuts a pretty sad figure.
My point was meant to be that she pushed herself so hard into the media spotlight at the end, to the extent even Max Clifford was not comfortable with some of the decisions. It is the relentless reporting of this that seems to have got everyones knickers in a twist.
All of her adult life was spent in the media and as a result that's where all of her money came from. It not surprising she didn't know any other way to spend the last part of it.
