He's still less of a moaner than Button though.
(I don't really like either of them).
What are Di Resta & Chiltern like? Di Resta seems fine, not sure if I've seen Chiltern interviewed...

To be fair splitting up with Scherzinger may (eventually) do him a world of good if it allows him to refocus on his ability to drive a Formula 1 car very quickly.
He does seem to have lost that focus in recent years, and become more concerned with the "brand of Hamilton", all show and little substance- just like Nicole in fact.
He's hard to like right now, for all the reasons which Gridds enumerates.
But, and I think this is significant- he really can drive, and if he can lose the "it's everyones fault but my own" spoilt 5 year old behavior and get back to making his car go faster than anyone else can then he'll be better than he ever was before.

Right. That's it. I've officially become a Lewis Hamilton hater. What a whinging little brat. Moan moan moan moan moan: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/motor-racing/wimbledon-champion-andy-murray-has-an-easier-job-than-me-says-f1-driver-lewis-hamilton-8696200.html
Everyone has the same tyres, douchebag! You just have to use them properly.
"it's not fair" http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/108690? !!?? well maybe if you didn't cheat by having a secret/private tyre test the equivalent of 3 race distances earlier (hardly fair on all the other teams, eh?) you wouldn't be banned from the up coming Silverstone test, you silly little bitch.
Oh, you've split up from that pussycat doll? Awww Diddums. Life must be so hard for you...
HTFU and just do your job you spoilt litte prick.
WAC.
The independent article shows what a prick Lewis Hamilton is. Highlights include:
Lewis Hamilton reckons Andy Murray has it easy because the Wimbledon champion only has a tennis racket to control
I realise that Lewis is probably responding to a stupid question posed by an second rate hack but he should have told said hack that he was trying to compare apples and oranges and moved on. There is and can be no comparison between these sports. WAC.
He says the variables which he has to put up with mean his hopes of a second world title are fainter than ever. Unlike Murray, who beat Novak Djokovic to win Wimbledon on Sunday, just after Hamilton had finished fifth in the German Grand Prix, he does not see his fortunes changing soon.
Hamilton must surely realise that the differences between him and Andy Murray are so great that any comparison is ridiculous. WAC
“I don’t think people realise how much of a negative it is for us to be missing the test, Hamilton said, looking ahead to the next race in Budapest. “We’ll be going to Hungary and others will have tested different tyre pressures. We will go into it blind. We shouldn’t be in this position.”
Your team was caught bang to rights and this is the (very light) punishment that you have received. Get over it and move on FFS. WAC
Domestic matters have also led to Hamilton’s glass-half-empty outlook. He said: “I need to keep myself busy otherwise my mind will wander. Being behind the wheel is still one of my favourite places, or being in the studio making music. I’m more successful in the studio at the moment.”
FUCK OFF YOU ARE A RACING DRIVER NOT A MUSICIAN. WAC.
If he continues to behave like this I cannot see how his position at Mercedes is tenable the guy has form for being a disruptive influence and his priorities are seriously screwed. He is the spokesperson for a number of very high profile brands as part of his job, if I controlled their advertising budget I would be worried as he does not seem capable of staying on message. This must have serious consequences for the team, even one as wealthy as Mercedes.

Amen.
Maybe he should fuck off to NASCAR?
-
• #3481
ffs. so the bloke has qualified on pole twice and 2nd three times in the last five grands prix and his position is untenable? how do m-b's results last year compare? i reckon they are happy motherfuckers witht the team and drivers they have now.
i hate the hip-hop bullshit as much as anyone, but don't you think you are all going a little ott over a couple of shit questions in a shit interview for a shit paper? fuck me - the hack has basically turned a piss-weak interview into something to get all of your knickers into a twist over.

• #3482
I've always thought he was a cunt.
The hack, that is.
Before Gaggles has a pink fit.

LP is a bit of a bell-end though.

He's more like Fred West than Kanye West.

i wish he would fuck off to nascar, along with all of the other decent british drivers. that way the brit fans* could go back to watching football and every newspaper article and every f1 thread would't be full of this tedious crap.
do you think that cock of a journalist would have posted "LH thinks Djokovic has it easy"?
-
• #3486
We invented F1. Therefore we are entitled to fill it with crap. LH can leave if he so desires - just like Juan-Pablo did.

By this point in the season last year Hamilton had scored the same number of poles and second places as this year but his constant ball aching was causing problems in the team. His ability to drive is not in question the problem is him and his attitude this drove apart a team that was built around him, the MB team is not and he is pulling the same shit there. Do you really think that they will tolerate this if they see that there is another option that will cause less hassle for them or their sponsors?
MB's biggest results this year have come from Rosberg who has quietly got on with the job in hand and delivered two race wins. I'll bet you a score that Rosberg will finish above his more experienced team mate in the driver's championship and deliver more constructors points as the clusterfuck that is the Lewis Hamilton circus once again gathers pace.

Is Anthony involved again, or not?
-
• #3489
^ I don't think so. Lewis is managing to drive off the rails all by himself.
BTW, has anyone ever heard any of the fruits of his so called studio rap/RnB 'success' ? I haven't but I can imaging it being pretty shit.

It'll be like those recording sessions in Boogie Nights.

This.
Don't the pundits always say the first objective in F1 is to beat your team mate? LH might have thought that he would walk into MB as the clear top dog but despite qualifying slightly better than Rosberg over the whole season (though each have had 3 poles), Nico has managed to won 2 of the last 4 races with the same 'disadvantages' that LH had.

He needs to focus on what he demonstrably has a talent for, he says repeating himself.

I was comparing m-b's results last year and this year, not hamilton's in response to the suggestion that the sponsors may not be happy. you can compare mclaren's results, too and see that he made a pretty shrewd move. As I said, I reckon m-b sponsors are laughing too.
I'll agree that rosberg has really stepped up, but this is lh's 1st season in a new team and is beating his team mate (unless the championship table has stopped being the gauge). I am tempted to take that bet, I really am.

See above. How do you beat you team mate if not by scoring more points?

He his beating his team mate by what, 15 points. Rosberg has had 2 retirements due to one electrical and one suspension fault. At the end of the day though Rosberg has delivered the goods, twice. Hamilton has slagged off the tyres, the FIA, and now thinks he is currently having more success as a musician. Niki Lauda must be tearing what little hair he has left out! Do you honestly think that someone so focused as to get back in an F1 car 6 weeks after suffering the injuries he did in that crash is going to tolerate LH's temper tantrums?
-
• #3496
Temper tantrums? How has an an article that some shit hack has concocted (to get into the 'Andy Murray' searches on google), where he has a moan, turned into a temper tantrum? Moaning, yes, but temper tantrums? Please.
I'll bet Lauda does what the sponsors tell him.

Ha.

I would be a bit fucked off with the tyres if I had a blowout at the front that cost me a maiden win with my new team.

Christ you guys are as bad as the drivers for whining!
I'm saying nothing.
